  • Publication number: 20250003453
Abstract: A detection apparatus includes a base part, a bearing, a discoid rotating part for detection, and a displacement detection unit. The bearing has a first bearing member fixed to a rotating object, and a second bearing member fixed to the base part. The rotating part for detection is provided so as to rotate together with the first bearing member and extends radially outward of the bearing with respect to the first bearing member. The displacement detection unit is provided at a position in the base part which is radially away from the bearing and faces the rotating part for detection in an axial direction of the bearing. Moreover, the displacement detection unit is configured to output a voltage signal according to displacement of the rotating part for detection in the axial direction and displacement of the rotating part for detection in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction.

  • Publication number: 20240426345
Abstract: A detection device for vehicles includes a base section fixed to a body of a vehicle, and a bearing having an outer ring member, an inner ring member, and rolling elements, which rotatably supports a wheel of the vehicle against the base section. A first bearing member of the outer ring member and the inner ring member is fixed to the wheel, and a second bearing member of the outer ring member and the inner ring member is fixed to the base section. The detection device includes a disk-shaped rotating section for detection that extends radially outward of the bearing with respect to the first bearing member, and a displacement detection section that outputs a signal in response to an axial displacement of the rotating section for detection.

  • Patent number: 11733063
Abstract: A position sensor includes a detector and a signal processor. The detector includes: a sensor chip having a surface; a first detection element disposed at the surface of the sensor chip; and a second detection element disposed at the surface of the sensor chip. The signal processor processes a signal input from the detector. The first detection element outputs a first detection signal corresponding to a position of a detection target, based on a change in a magnetic field received from the detection target. The second detection element outputs a second detection signal corresponding to the position of the detection target, based on the change in the magnetic field received from the detection target. A center of balance of the first detection element coincides with a center of balance of the second detection element.

  • Patent number: 11099034
Abstract: A position sensor includes a detector and a signal processor. The detector includes a magnet generating a bias magnetic field and a detection element configured to be applied by the bias magnetic field, and generates plural detection signals including distinct phase difference and corresponding to plural ranges aligned in one direction along a movement direction of a detection target, based on a change in a magnetic field received by the detection element from the detection target with a movement of the detection target having a magnetic body. The signal processor acquires the detection signals from the detector, compares the detection signals with a threshold value, and specifies a position of the detection target as a position at one of the ranges based on a combination of magnitude relation between the detection signals and the threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20200072593
Abstract: A position sensor includes a detector (122) and a signal processor (123). The detector generates detection signals, which have a distinct phase difference and which respectively correspond to ranges aligned in one direction along a movement direction of a detection target (200, 202, 203) having a magnetic material, based on a change in a magnetic field received from the detection target along with a movement of the detection target. The signal processor acquires the detection signals from the detector, compares the detection signals with a threshold value, and specifies a position of the detection target as a position covered by one of the ranges based on a combination of magnitude relations of the detection signals and the threshold value.
