  • Publication number: 20080288145
Abstract: In a control apparatus for a powertrain that includes an automatic transmission, occurrence of slip in a one-way clutch is determined when one gear is formed if a first rotation member and a second rotation member of the one-way clutch rotate relatively. If slip in the one-way clutch is detected, it is determined whether the rotational speed difference between the first rotation member and the second rotation member has increased. If the rotational speed difference between the first rotation member and the second rotation member has increased when slip is detected in the one-way clutch, a control is executed to engage a predetermined frictional engagement element.

  • Publication number: 20080220933
Abstract: A control apparatus for a vehicle is provided with an electric motor that outputs driving force for running the vehicle; an automatic transmission that establishes a plurality of gears by selectively applying and releasing a plurality of friction apply elements in a predetermined combination for each gear among the plurality of gears, and transmits power from the electric motor to an output shaft of the vehicle; and a torque controlling portion which, when there is a demand for a power-off downshift, controls output torque of the electric motor such that input torque of the automatic transmission becomes constant torque during an inertia phase of that shift, and controls the output torque of the electric motor such that the output torque of the automatic transmission comes to match the torque required after the shift, after rotation synchronization by an apply-side friction apply element is complete.

  • Publication number: 20080093137
Abstract: A hybrid motor vehicle includes a differential having a differential mechanism equipped with a first rotating element that is connected to an engine, a second rotating element that is connected to a first electric motor and a third rotating element connected to both a second electric motor and a transfer member; and a transmission provided in a power transmission path, extending from the transfer member to driven wheels, that establishes a plurality of transmission ranges by selectively operating a plurality of coupling devices. An irreversible rotation member connected to a non-rotation member against reverse rotation through a one-way clutch is provided in the transmission. When the second electric motor is malfunctioning, an engine start control unit starts the engine by driving the first electric motor while selectively engaging the coupling devices to connect the transfer member to the irreversible rotation member.

  • Patent number: 7287375
Abstract: A main spool is located in a bypass line connecting a pump line to a return line. The main spool moves in an axial direction according to the pressure in a spring chamber and the pressure in a pilot chamber, thereby adjusting the opening degree of the bypass line. A pilot switching valve is located in a pressure control passage connecting the spring chamber to the return line. The pilot switching valve controls the flow rate of hydraulic oil that flows from the spring chamber to the return line in accordance with the load pressure of a hydraulic actuator, thereby adjusting the pressure of hydraulic oil in the spring chamber. As a result, the range of the flow rate of hydraulic oil supplied to the hydraulic actuator, which range precludes the influence of the load pressure of the hydraulic actuator, is expanded.

  • Patent number: 7273136
Abstract: A hydraulic parking brake device is selectively switched between a braking state and a non-braking state. A braking force decreases as a pressure in the control oil chamber increases and increases as the pressure in the control oil chamber decreases. The device includes a discharged oil restrictor located in a discharge passage and an accumulator connected to the control oil chamber. The accumulator is capable of releasing hydraulic oil to the control oil chamber when the braking force is greater than that at the time when the parking brake device is switched from the non-braking state to the braking state and the braking force can further be increased during the braking state of the parking brake device. Thus, the parking brake device can gradually brake the vehicle from the running state.

  • Patent number: 6657196
Abstract: An infrared beam is applied into an infrared transmitting substrate 10 disposed in an environment to be measured; the infrared beam which has undergone multiple internal reflections in the infrared transmitting substrate 10 and exited from the infrared transmitting substrate 10 is detected; the detected infrared beam is spectroscopically analyzed to measure a species and/or a quantity of the substance in the environment present near the infrared transmitting substrate 10; and a species and/or a concentration of the substance in the environment to be measured are measured based on the species and/or the quantity of the substance in the environment present near the infrared transmitting substrate 10. Thus, the substances in the environment, such as organic contaminants, etc., present in the atmosphere can be identified, or their concentrations can be measured, with high sensitivity and realtime.

  • Patent number: 6590479
Abstract: The invention allows for testing by high velocity signals of high density LSIs prior to being packaged having an electrode spacing on the odder of 150 &mgr;m, for example. Coaxial transmission lines 13 for termination formed through a terminal support 11 are arranged in a two-dimensional array. Connected to one ends of the transmission lines 13 are one ends of contact pins 18 such as conductive whiskers while the other ends of the transmission lines 13 are connected to a transmission line block 61 of a three-dimensionally upwardly gradually broadening configuration through a connection plate 72 similar in construction to the terminal support 11. The transmission line block 61 holds high frequency transmission lines 62 for relay connected at one ends to the other ends of the coaxial transmission lines 13 and having spacings between the adjacent lines broadened at the other upper ends. The widely spaced upper ends of the transmission lines 62 are connected to a performance board (not shown).
