  • Patent number: 8986874
Abstract: A wound electrode body is fabricated by laminating and winding positive and negative electrode sheets together with a separator therebetween for insulation. On both positive and negative electrode side ends of the wound electrode body, laminates of current-collecting foil layered portions of the electrode sheets are bent or folded f toward the outer peripheral side to be separated into two. The separated laminates and forked connector leaves are overlapped and clamped between an ultrasonic chip and an anvil. Then, they are welded. The forked connector leaves are arranged such that no opposing forked connector leaf is present in the direction of a line normal to the forked connector leaf, so that the anvil does not have to be cantilevered. This allows welding by using the ultrasonic chip and the anvil without interfering with the collector rs. As a result, the quality of welding is improved.

  • Publication number: 20140051070
Abstract: The present invention provides a streptavidin-coupled magnetic particle with high biotin-binding capacity, and a manufacturing method thereof. The streptavidin-coupled magnetic particle has a structure in which streptavidins are cross-linked with each other on a magnetic particle. A method for manufacturing the streptavidin-coupled magnetic particle includes the steps of: (1) preparing a suspension containing magnetic particles having amino groups on their surface; and (2) reacting the magnetic particles with streptavidin and glutaraldehyde by adding glutaraldehyde in the presence of streptavidin to the suspension prepared in step (1). The streptavidin-coupled magnetic particle of the present invention, and the streptavidin-coupled magnetic particle manufactured by the manufacturing method of the present invention are useful in clinical diagnosis.

  • Publication number: 20080099153
Abstract: An attitude-changeable surface pressing member is attached to a front end of a clip such that substrates can evenly be pressed even if a distance clipped at the front end by the clip is changed during a heating process in a sealing process. A display panel sealing clip includes a pressing member which has a pair of clipping portions for clipping both the substrates and the tubulation tubing to apply pressure in a direction in which the pair of clipping portions is brought close to each other and a surface pressing member which presses the tubulation tubing by a surface thereof.

  • Publication number: 20060150679
Abstract: The bonding method for a vent pipe of a display panel includes the step of preparing the bonding member on the periphery of the flange portion of the vent pipe, the step of interposing a buffer member made of a low-melting point glass flit having a softening temperature higher than that of the bonding member between a contact face to the display panel of the flange portion of the vent pipe and the display panel, and, in a state in which the flange portion of the vent pipe is pressed onto the display panel face by a pressing member so that the vent pipe is fixed, the step of heating the bonding member and the buffer member to a temperature to be softened so that the flange portion of the vent pipe is bonded to the display panel through the fused bonding member.

  • Patent number: 6840833
Abstract: In the manufacture of a gas discharge type display panel, by applying a sealing operation along with an exhausting operation, the sealing glass 14 is broken down by a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the panel, and thus, the clearance gap between the substrates can be controlled as desired. In addition, the gaseous component that is unnecessary for the discharge operation is exhausted by setting the temperature of the amorphous sealing glass to exceed its softening-point and be no more than its working point. In the structure of the gas discharge type display panel, a protruding portion having a radius of curvature between 0.1 mm and 1 mm is formed on the sealing glass to reduce the dispersion in the thickness direction of the sealing glass, or the cross-sectional shape of the sealing glass is made convex both at its inside end part and its outside end part.

  • Patent number: 6649590
Abstract: A milk basic protein fraction is heated if necessary, the resulting precipitate is removed to recover the resulting supernatant, alcohol is added to this supernatant, a fraction containing a high concentration of milk basic cystatin is recovered by removing the resulting precipitate and brought into contact with a carrier containing a sulfuric acid group, such as heparin, to recover a fraction which is not adsorbed onto the carrier, and this fraction is then treated with an ultrafiltration membrane having an cut-off molecular weight of 10-50 kDa to recover the permeate to produce a fraction containing a high concentration of milk basic cystatin.
