  • Publication number: 20150282071
Abstract: A mobile phone 10 comprises a display 14 provided with an LED (46) that functions as a backlight, a display driver (42), etc. The display driver has a CABC (Content Adaptive Brightness Control) function to adjust illuminance of the backlight, an image quality of an image to be displayed, etc. based on the image that is displayed on the display 14. If a residual battery quantity of a secondary battery (58) becomes equal to or less that a first threshold value, for example, the CABC function is rendered in an enabled state. Furthermore, if the residual battery quantity becomes equal to or less that a second threshold value, an image parameter such as brightness, contrast, a gamma value, chroma saturation, etc. is changed such that the image that is output to the display driver becomes darker.

  • Patent number: 8947362
Abstract: First detection information related to electrical connection between each row signal line and each column signal line is received from a key matrix circuit (S101). Based on the first detection information, it is determined whether a possibility exists that a user has pressed at least three key switches simultaneously and electrical connection between signal lines for a key switch that has not been pressed has been erroneously detected (S108). Information in accordance with key switches pressed by the user is output based on the first detection information when the determination is negative (S109), whereas output of information based on the first detection information is blocked when the determination is positive.

  • Publication number: 20060012699
Abstract: The present invention offers a digital still camera capable of simply preventing blurring due to hand shake caused by holding down the shutter button of the digital still camera. When auto focus mode is in operation, the image capture unit 102 captures images of a subject after receiving directions from the control unit 105 to capture the images at predetermined time intervals, and outputs the image data to the control unit 105. The control unit 105 sequentially stores, in the buffer 103, the image data input from the image capture unit 102, and displays the images in the display unit 104. The control unit 105 reads image data stored most recently in the buffer 103 when a user operation of holding down the shutter button in the operation unit 101 is detected, and displays the image data in the display unit 104 while storing the image data in the image storage unit 106. This allows to store image data captured right beforehand shake due to the operation of holding down the shutter button is made.
