  • Publication number: 20110071955
Abstract: A transportation schedule planning support system receives an order of one or more types of products which requires a use-by date control, and transports the products from one or more stock-carrying bases to one or more delivery destinations. In the system, a user previously registers a transportation route candidate from a stock-carrying base to each delivery destination adoptable as a solution, as a base group. A necessary use-by date for a product to be delivered next is determined based on an actual delivery to each delivery destination. The number of vehicles allocatable to a transportation at each base according to a vehicle type, and a vehicle type not used in each base group are added to a restriction condition. A mixed integer programming is applied using an expected obtainable profit obtained by delivering each product as an objective function.

  • Patent number: 6968592
Abstract: A self-running vacuum cleaner comprises a homing mode of following a back of a user with receiving a signal from a light emitting means or a transmitting means of a position indicator means held by the user, an instruction operation mode, in which the user instructs a cleaning area to the self-running vacuum cleaner, and an execution mode for cleaning up the cleaning area instructed. When the self-running vacuum cleaner operates under the homing mode or the instruction mode, a signal from the light-emitting means or the transmitting means is received by a receiver means attached on a periphery portion of a measuring means, which is provided in an upper portion of the vacuum cleaner. Comparing the signals from the two (2) receiver means in strength thereof determines the distance and the direction from the position indicated by the light-emitting means or the transmitting means up to the vacuum cleaner.

  • Patent number: 5537266
Abstract: In a tape loading device of the invention, a tape is taken out by tape guides mounted on an inclined loading ring, and the loading ring is rotated to wind the tape on a rotary drum from one side thereof. An auxiliary inclined guide is provided between the rotary drum and the leading tape guide. Only during a loading operation, the auxiliary inclined guide contacts the tape, while angularly moved about the leading tape guide. When the loading operation is completed, the auxiliary inclined guide is disengaged from the tape. With the provision of the auxiliary inclined guide, the tape is prevented from being twisted between the rotary drum and the leading tape guide.
