  • Publication number: 20250240050
Abstract: A wireless station includes a switching instruction acceptor, a position determiner, a mode selector, a signal processing circuit, and a communicator. The position determiner determines, with respect to at least one area that indicates a geographical range associated with one of telecommunication modes of the wireless station, whether or not the wireless station is located within one of the areas. When the switching instruction acceptor accepts an instruction of switching to a transmission mode, the mode selector selects a first telecommunication mode of an area within which the wireless station is determined to be located or a second telecommunication mode in a case where the wireless station is not located within any of the areas. The signal processing circuit generates, from an input signal, transmission data matching a telecommunication mode selected by the mode selector.

  • Publication number: 20240357673
Abstract: A radio device includes: a plurality of operation terminals each of which is provided with a unique ID and each of which is configured to perform an operation related to a task for digital selective calling (DSC) communication; an ID changing section configured to, when one of the plurality of operation terminals is selected, (i) change the ID of the operation terminal selected to a high-priority ID indicating that the operation terminal selected is allowed to preferentially perform the DSC operation and (ii) change the IDs of the other operation terminals unselected among the plurality of operation terminals to non-high-priority identifiers other than the high-priority ID; and an execution section configured to accept an operation performed by the operation terminal provided with the high-priority ID and execute the task.

  • Patent number: 11818659
Abstract: A wireless system includes a control device and a wireless communication device. The control device switches between a control-side access point mode and a control-side station mode. In the control-side access point mode, the control device receives a connection request from the wireless communication device to establish a connection and, in the control-side station mode sends a connection request to the wireless communication device to establish a connection. The control device sends a sleep command or a wake-up command to the wireless communication device with which the connection is established.

  • Patent number: 11212836
Abstract: Provided is a method for, upon transmission of a DSC message being instructed, enabling quick start of the transmission. The method includes; (1) instructing, upon transmission of the DSC message being instructed, an antenna tuner to start tuning regardless of whether being busy or not, and switching an antenna from reception to transmission after the tuning is completed, (2) performing busy check, and standing by for a time period defined in the standard, when a reception signal in a transmission channel is no longer a dot pattern, and executing these processes (1) and (2) in parallel.
