  • Patent number: 9631682
Abstract: A synchronization device for a manual transmission of a vehicle, including a synchronizer ring configured to synchronize rotation of a transmission gear and clutch hub. The synchronizer ring includes: a ring body having an annular shape; an axial protruding portion protruding from the ring body toward the clutch hub in an axial direction to set a size of an axial clearance between the ring body and the clutch hub; and a radial protruding portion protruding from the ring body toward the clutch hub in a radial direction intersecting the axial direction to set a size of a radial clearance to be formed between the ring body and the clutch hub. The ring body, the axial protruding portion, and the radial protruding portion are formed integrally by metal stamping.

  • Publication number: 20150221989
Abstract: Provided is a positive electrode active material for alkaline storage batteries that enables to achieve a high charging efficiency in a wide temperature range including high temperatures, and suppress self-discharge. The positive electrode active material for alkaline storage batteries includes a nickel oxide. In a powder X-ray 2?/? diffraction pattern using CuK? radiation of the nickel oxide, the ratio I001/I101 of a peak intensity I001 of (001) plane to a peak intensity I101 of (101) plane is 2 or more, and the ratio FWHM001/FWHM101 of a full width at half maximum FWHM001 of (001) plane to a full width at half maximum FWHM101 of (101) plane is 0.6 or less.

  • Publication number: 20140069221
Abstract: A restricting pin is provided so as to be slidable in a moving direction of a front end of a reverse restricting member provided at a select lever for selecting forward and reverse fork shafts switching a shift gear(s), and is biased toward the reverse restricting member. A lockout lever that can be inserted into/detached from between the restricting pin and the front end of the reverse restricting member is biased toward an insertion side by a spring, and at a vehicle speed less than a predetermined vehicle speed. A front end of an advancing operating rod of the actuator contacts and is detached against the force of the spring. At a vehicle speed not less than a predetermined vehicle speed, the front end of the reverse restricting member contacts the inserted lockout lever, thereby preventing the select lever from moving to a reverse select position.

  • Patent number: 7900535
Abstract: A transmission includes: a casing of the transmission; a shaft rotatably supported by the casing and having an oil passage; plural gears mounted on the shaft. The lubricant is partly lifted and stirred in response to a shift operation implemented by selectively engaging and rotating the gears. The transmission further includes a lubricating mechanism placed at a position higher than the shaft and having an upper end opening in an upward direction so as to collect and store the lifted lubricant. The lubricating mechanism is provided with an oil supply port through which the lubricant is guided to the oil passage of the shaft.

  • Patent number: 6130008
Abstract: An alkaline storage battery with improved cycle life and self-discharge characteristics is disclosed. The battery comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator and an alkaline electrolyte. For the separator, a material of a woven or nonwoven fabric sheet or a porous film of polyolefine resin of which surfaces have been modified with a hydrophilic compound having a carboxyl group by graft-polymerization. The quantity of carbonates inside the battery is regulated to 150 mg/Ah battery capacity. The quantity of carbonates inside the battery can be regulated to a minimum by optimizing graft polymerization and subsequent washing conditions.
