Abstract: To positively retain terminal retaining members provisionally and completely relative to a connector housing, a connector 1, 41, 61 includes a connector housing 2, 42, 62 for receiving terminals 4, 64, and a holder 3, 43, 63 attached in a sliding manner to the connector housing. Terminal retaining members 9 are pivotally provided respectively at opening portions 7 of the connector housing. The holder includes first slanting portions 26 for pushing the terminal retaining members into the respective opening portions so as to provisionally retain the terminal retaining members, and second slanting portions 29 for further pushing the terminal retaining members into the opening portions so as to completely retain the terminal retaining members. When the retaining members are provisionally retained, a distal end of each retaining member abuts against the corresponding second slanting portion.

Abstract: A headlamp includes a sub-reflector between a main reflector and a projection lens. The sub-reflector has a sub-reflection surface in a form of a paraboloid of revolution. The sub-reflector is movable between a low-beam posture and a high-beam posture. The sub-reflector forms a diffused light distribution pattern superposes the pattern on a low-beam light distribution pattern produced by the main reflector when the sub-reflector is in the low-beam posture and forms a condensed light distribution pattern and superposes the pattern on a high-beam light distribution pattern formed by the main reflector when the sub-reflector is in the high-beam posture.

Abstract: A vehicle lighting apparatus includes a bulb having a front end and a rear end; a reflector including an insertion hole for inserting the front end and a mounting portion to which the rear end is detachably mounted; and a reflective surface provided on the reflector, to reflect light from the bulb in a predetermined direction. The bulb is inserted in a direction intersecting with an optical axis so that a bulb axis intersects with the optical axis. The bulb axis is inclined in such a manner that the front end is declined towards a direction of reflection of the light by the reflective surface with respect to the rear end.
