Patent number: 11380947Abstract: The rack-type power supply device includes a plurality of battery modules each of which accommodates a plurality of secondary battery cells, a rack main body that vertically accommodates battery modules in a horizontal posture like a plurality of steps with gaps between the battery modules, and a plurality of cooling fans that are arranged on a front surface side of the rack main body and blow cooling air into the gaps between battery modules. The rack main body also includes a back-side duct in which cooling air having passed through the gaps flows upward on a back surface side of the battery modules. In addition, rack main body includes an air outlet for discharging cooling air having passed through the back-side duct on a top surface side. The cooling fan is disposed to be shifted from the gap between the battery modules in front view of the rack main body.Type: GrantFiled: October 12, 2017Date of Patent: July 5, 2022Assignee: SANYO Electric Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yasuhiro Oono, Yasuhiro Watanabe, Toshikazu Ura, Masahiro Kawabata

Patent number: 7132196Abstract: A battery pack includes a laminate battery having a built-in electrode held inside thereof by connecting a first sheathing film and a second sheathing film at lap sections thereof along outer peripheries of the electrode. A terminal substrate is disposed at the lap section and includes output terminals at a front surface side thereof. A substrate holder is disposed between a rear surface of the terminal substrate and the lap section, and a first metal plate is laminated on a first sheathing film side of the laminate battery. In the battery pack, the terminal substrate is supported by the substrate holder, the lap section, and the first metal plate, and the output terminals of the terminal substrate are disposed at positions so as to be brought closer to the same plane as a front surface of the second sheathing film.Type: GrantFiled: June 27, 2003Date of Patent: November 7, 2006Assignee: Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hideyo Morita, Yasuhiro Oono

Patent number: 5471901Abstract: A press die for piercing operation comprises an upper die movable toward and away from a lower die. When the upper die is moved toward the lower die, a pad interposed between the two dies is forced against the lower die to hold a workpiece sheet against the lower die. The pad has a hole in which a tubular elastic member is fitted. The elastic member has a hole for passing a punch having a projecting tip. The lower die has a hollow bore which is in confrontation with the projecting tip. When the upper die is moved toward the lower die on which the workpiece is laid, the pad holds the workpiece and the upper die drives the punch so that the projecting tip of the punch pierces the workpiece by being driven into the hollow bore. The elastic member is deformable and allows the punch to shift laterally so that the projecting tip and the hollow bore are in accurate coaxial alignment.Type: GrantFiled: October 4, 1993Date of Patent: December 5, 1995Assignee: Fuji Jukogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Yuichi Nishiya, Yoshiharu Takano, Kozo Takahashi, Yasuo Imaizumi, Yasuhiro Oono
