  • Patent number: 8817102
Abstract: A device which can support a determination of a camera layout by automatically preparing the camera layout that satisfies a customer request based on the customer request including a surveillance layout. Specifically, a need table that is a data set of a plurality of arrangement candidate cameras satisfying the customer request is prepared from the customer request including the surveillance layout. An arrangement of the plurality of the arrangement candidate cameras on a map is calculated based on the need table using a clustering method and a temporary layout of cameras is prepared. Then, an arrangement layout of the cameras in the surveillance layout is determined based on the temporary layout.

  • Patent number: 8582989
Abstract: A process cartridge includes a toner reservoir. A first controller calculates a consumed amount of toner based on image data. A toner bottle is attached to the process cartridge. The toner bottle includes a toner chamber that holds the toner therein and supplies the toner into the reservoir. The toner bottle includes a first memory holding first information on a first amount of toner in the toner chamber and first identification information on the toner bottle. A second memory holds second information on a second amount of toner in the reservoir and second identification information on the toner bottle. If the first and second identification information do not coincide, it is determined that the toner bottle has been replaced and then the first information and the second information are updated based on the first information, the second information, and a capacity of the toner chamber.

  • Publication number: 20070100170
Abstract: Fluorenone and a phenolic compound (e.g., a 2-C1-4alkylphenol) is subjected to a condensation reaction in coexistence with a thiol compound and a hydrochloric acid aqueous solution to produce a fluorene derivative [e.g., 9,9-bis(C1-4alkylhydroxyphenyl)fluorene]. The proportion (weight ratio) of fluorenone relative to the thiol compound [fluorenone/the thiol compound] is about 1/0.01 to 1/0.5, and the proportion (weight ratio) of the thiol compound relative to hydrochloric acid (HCl) in the hydrochloric acid aqueous solution [the thiol compound/hydrochloric acid] is about 1/0.1 to 1/3. As the thiol compound, a mercaptocarboxylic acid (?-mercaptopropionic acid) may be used. According to the method, a highly purified fluorene derivative excellent in transparency can be obtained inexpensively and simply without using a hydrogen chloride gas having handling difficulty.
