    Abstract: The present invention relates to holding a call being executed between communication devices in a communication system which has a first function for a holding party of the communication devices to hold the call by transmitting a first request signal to a held party and a second function for the holding party to hold the call by transmitting a second request signal to the held party and receiving a response signal. The holding party transmits the second request signal first and when the response signal is not returned within a given time, transmits the first request signal. A transit device for relaying a call between communication devices, unless detecting the response signal within a given time after relaying the second request signal, transmits the first request signal to the held party, generates the response signal and transmits the generated response signal to the holding party.

The drive shape comprises projections equiangularly spaced from one another to extend radially from an axis of the threaded fastener, curved portions formed between the projections to dent toward the axis, and drive surfaces formed between the projections and the curved portions. Clamping forces acting on the drive surfaces are directed toward substantially perpendicular to a straight line passing through the axis and apices of the projections.

The mail A′ is held in a mail server 4 through a mail server 3.     Abstract: A fiber reinforced plastics comprises a resin and chopped strands dispersed in the resin, wherein the chopped strands comprise glass fiber chopped strands composed of cut assemblies of glass filaments and high elastic chopped strands composed of cut assemblies of high modulus inorgtanic filaments having higher elastic modulus than the filaments and having 3000 or less number of assembled filaments. By this arrangement, the both chopped strands are closely and uniformly dispersed in the resin and the force interaction between the both chopped stands are enhanced. The resultant plastics has remarkably improved strength and fatigue durability, and higher rigidity than conventional ones.

    Abstract: An aluminum alloy cylinder block for use in a water-cooled internal combustion engine has a cylinder with a bore into which a piston is to be movably fitted. A water jacket provided on the outer side wall of the cylinder is adapted to allow the passage of water therein for cooling the engine. The depth of the water jacket from the top of the cylinder block is preferably from 0.2 to 0.5 times the length of the cylinder.
