  • Publication number: 20190158297
Abstract: Provided is a communication system in which an in-vehicle communication apparatus mounted in a vehicle is capable of acquiring update information of a system configuration relating to issuance of certificate information, and an in-vehicle communication apparatus that is included in this communication system. An in-vehicle communication apparatus mounted in a vehicle acquires update information related to an increase or decrease in the system configuration of a certificate information issuing system from an update information distribution server apparatus, via a roadside communication apparatus installed on a road. The in-vehicle communication apparatus, in a case of becoming communicable with the roadside communication apparatus, acquires function list information from the roadside communication apparatus, and determines whether this roadside communication apparatus has a relay function.

  • Publication number: 20180236888
Abstract: A relay device provided in vehicle having a battery, converting control signal formats, and relaying same between: a first communications unit that sends and receives control signals in a first format relating to charging; and second communications unit that supplies DC voltage, is provided in a charging station that charges battery, and sends and receives control signals in a second format relating to charging. The relay device includes: a limiting unit that limits power supplied between charging station and battery, regardless of vehicle side control performed on control signals' basis; an acquisition unit that obtains DC voltage supplied by charging station and obtains the battery's voltage; a determination unit that determines whether the voltage difference between each obtained voltage is less than threshold value; and a release unit that releases the limits by limiting unit if a determination has been made that the voltage difference is less than threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20180215278
Abstract: A vehicle-mounted charging system is provided that can charge a battery regardless of the charging method and prevent an abnormal current from occurring between a vehicle and a charging station. A first charging controller, controls charging in accordance with a first charging method, communicates with a first charging apparatus via a charging cable connected to a first inlet, and charges a battery by turning on a DC cutoff relay, provided on a power supply path from the first inlet to the battery. If it is determined that charging is to be performed in accordance with a second charging method, a charging control unit relays communication between a second charging apparatus and the first charging controller. The charging control unit performs control to delay the timing of actually turning on the DC cutoff relay relative to the timing at which the first charging controller turns on the DC cutoff relay.

  • Patent number: 9048888
Abstract: A power line communication system is provided in which the influence of the impulsive noise unexpectedly generated on a power line which is a communication medium can be reduced according to the characteristics of the impulsive noise by an existing method and power line communication can be realized without a hindrance. A transmitter is constituted by: a modulator for conveying a LIN data signal by a power line; a filter that allows a signal of a predetermined band to pass therethrough; and a sinusoidal wave outputter (sinusoidal wave in the figure). In contrast, the receiver is constituted by the sinusoidal wave outputter, the filter and a demodulator that performs demodulation. To the power line, a limiter that limits the amplitude of the propagating signal to a predetermined amplitude (reception signal amplitude) is connected.
