  • Patent number: 7577452
Abstract: The invention provides a cell phone which shows good receiving sensitivity even in a state where synchronization with a base station is not provided, such as power-on and detection of a dead space. The invention alternately switches between a plurality of antennas a predetermined number of times per fixed time predetermined in accordance with the number of perch channels in a state where synchronization with a base station is not provided, and sets an antenna whose mean value of the receiving level of each of these antennas is the highest as an antenna to be used subsequently, that is, an antenna to open a control channel.

  • Patent number: 5636655
Abstract: An auto-drainage assembly to be inserted into a pneumatic piping system which supplies pressurized air to a pneumatically operating machine, for separating a drain liquid from the piping. The auto-drainage assembly is the type which includes a drain reservoir case, a hollow discharge guide shaft fitted in position at the bottom of the reservoir case, a drain valve seat provided within the discharge guide shaft for discharging the drain liquid to the outside, a hollow piston driven by pressurized air supplied to a pilot chamber in relation with upward and downward movements of a float within the drain reservoir case, and a drain valve body provided on the piston. The drain valve body is constituted by an annular seal member which is fitted on the outer periphery of the piston, and a large number of drain discharge grooves are provided on the inner periphery of the discharge guide shaft in such a way as to define a corresponding number of guide surfaces between the respective drain discharge grooves.

  • Patent number: 5381828
Abstract: A valve for slowly starting an actuator includes a block having an inlet port, an outlet port, and a passage providing communication between the inlet and outlet ports. A first valve body is disposed in the passage for selectively opening and closing the passage, and a second valve body is disposed downstream of the first valve body with respect to the passage for selectively opening and closing the passage. A needle valve is disposed in the block parallel to the second valve body between the passage and the outlet port for restricting the fluid under pressure discharged from the outlet port. The second valve body has a passage defined therein and communicating from one end to the other end thereof, and first and second pressure-bearing surfaces on the one and other ends, respectively, the first pressure-bearing surface is wider than the second pressure-bearing surface.
