Abstract: In a traffic management server, base station control corresponding to application information is instructed and it is instructed to control traffic, with respect to a specific application of a specific user, on a core network-side in cooperation with information related to a radio area calculated in a base station management server, whereby quality of experience (QoE) in a mobile terminal of a subscriber is improved.

Abstract: A communication quality management equipment connected via a control line to a plurality of wireless base stations within a wireless access network, acquires quality information of a wireless line at a present position of a mobile terminal, resource information as to a wireless line of each of the wireless base stations, and use information as to a network line of each of the wireless base stations from the respective wireless base stations in a periodic manner, or in response to an instruction issued from the communication quality management equipment, and then judges a communication quality at each of the present positions of the mobile terminal; forms communication quality map information in which the judged communication qualities have been defined in correspondence with the positional information, and transmits the formed communication quality map information to the mobile terminal in accordance with a request from the mobile terminal.

Abstract: A mobile wireless communications system includes mobile terminals and a base station for wireless communications. A base station sends a pilot signal to the mobile terminals. The pilot signal received by the mobile terminal is correlated to a data rate according to predetermined rules. The correlated data rate is further correlated to a display symbol. The mobile terminal specifies the data rate correlated to the pilot signal received and causes a display device of the mobile terminal to display the display symbol correlated to the specified data rate for its user to view.

Abstract: In the Internet having a plurality of autonomous systems interconnected, fast routing can be made. The autonomous systems constituting the Internet or the like are divided into groups. The border routers of one group share routing information of the group, and the border routers of another group share routing information of the group. Each border router has a unit for separating a desired one from the autonomous systems of a corresponding group or consolidating an autonomous system of another group into the corresponding group, so that the amount of the routing information held can be adapted to the processing ability of the border routers within that group.
