  • Publication number: 20210184538
Abstract: A flinger reducing a noise associated with rotation of an electric motor, and an electric motor with the flinger. The flinger fixed to a rotating shaft of the electric motor includes a plurality of tapped holes provided in an end face on an electric motor, and a cut-out cutting out a part of each of the tapped holes. The tapped hole of the flinger has a depth less than a depth of a tapped hole of a flinger in the related art by a distance equivalent to a depth of the cut-out, so that a natural frequency of an air column formed in the tapped hole increases. Thus, when the flinger is used, rotation speed causing increase in noise during rotation can be shifted to higher rotation speed.

  • Patent number: 10900809
Abstract: A high-precision magnetic sensor, an electric motor having the magnetic sensor, and a method of manufacturing a machine having the magnetic sensor. A gap adjusting member is attached to a radially outer portion of teeth of a sensor gear. In a manufacturing process of a machine having the magnetic sensor, the gap adjusting member is positioned between a detecting part and the tooth of the sensor gear, and a state in which the gap adjusting member contacts both the detecting part and the tooth can be easily realized due to magnetic force applied between the sensor gear and the detecting part. Therefore, a desired gap corresponding to the thickness of the gap adjusting member can be easily obtained, without carrying out the burdensome and skillful operation for adjusting the gap as in the prior art.

  • Patent number: 10833553
Abstract: An electric motor including a structure that prevents intrusion of a foreign substance into the electric motor, and a machine tool including the electric motor. A hollow tube that fluidly connects an inner portion of a terminal box and an outer surface of a front flange is provided, and a through hole extending from the outer surface to a front space is formed. The inner portion of the terminal box and the front space communicate with each other through a flow path that is fluidly cut off from an interior space of the machine or other such machine tool and air in the terminal box automatically flows into the front space through the flow path in accordance with rotation of a rotor as described above. Also, the terminal box is fluidly connected with an amplifier provided outside of the machine through an air passage.
