  • Patent number: 7229052
Abstract: A fixing tool includes a holding portion and fitting portion. The holding portion allows a chassis to hold a component. The fitting portion is integrally formed with the holding portion and is to be fitted in a through hole formed in the chassis, so that the holding portion is fixed to the chassis. The fitting portion has a post, a pair of fitting pieces, a pair of disengaging pieces, and a pair of leg pieces. The post projects downward from one side of the holding portion. The fitting pieces are formed at a distal end of the post to have an arrowhead-like shape, and elastically deform outwardly in diameter so as to be fitted in the through hole. The disengaging pieces extend from distal ends of the fitting pieces along two side surfaces of the holding portion, and elastically deform the fitting pieces, when operated manually, to disengage them from the through hole.

  • Patent number: 7182299
Abstract: In a fixing tool, a fitting portion includes a post, clamp plate, elastic press piece, and locking/unlocking piece. The clamp plate can be inserted through a fitting hole from an upper surface side of a chassis. The elastic press piece is elastically abutted against the upper surface of the chassis. The locking/unlocking piece is formed at part of the elastic press piece. When the clamp plate is inserted through the fitting hole and moved in one direction along a lower surface of the chassis, the locking/unlocking piece engages with an edge of the fitting hole opposite the direction of movement.

  • Publication number: 20060175473
Abstract: In a fixing tool, a fitting portion includes a post, clamp plate, elastic press piece, and locking/unlocking piece. The post projects for a length equal to or more than the thickness of the chassis. The clamp plate is formed at a distal end of the post and can be inserted through the fitting hole from an upper surface side toward a lower surface side of the chassis. The elastic press piece is formed at a portion in the vicinity of a proximal end of the post and elastically abutted against an upper surface of the chassis. The locking/unlocking piece is formed at part of the elastic press piece. When the clamp plate inserted through the fitting hole is slid in one direction along a lower surface of the chassis, it comes into contact with the lower surface of the chassis at not less than one portion of an edge of the fitting hole, to clamp the edge together with the elastic press piece. The locking/unlocking piece engages with an edge in an opposite direction of the fitting hole.

  • Patent number: 6923407
Abstract: A fixing tool fixes and supports an electronic component on a board, and includes a fixing portion to be mounted on the board. The fixing portion has a post, an engaging piece formed at a distal end of the post and extending in a direction perpendicular to a projecting direction of the post, a wing piece extending from a proximal end of the post in two outward directions perpendicular to the projecting direction of the post, and an engaging projecting portion formed to project at a distal end portion of the wing piece. The engaging piece is inserted in a mounting hole formed in the board and abuts against a lower surface of the board when being rotated along an upper surface of the board. The wing piece abuts against the upper surface of the board to clamp the board together with the engaging piece. The engaging projecting portion is fitted in the mounting hole, when being located at a rotational position, to lock rotation of the fixing portion.

  • Patent number: 6749157
Abstract: A snap structure includes a post, arrowhead-shaped snap pieces, leg pieces, and disengaging pieces. The snap pieces are formed at a distal end of the post and elastically deformable in a radial direction. The leg pieces are arranged to oppose the snap pieces. The disengaging pieces are connected each to one end of corresponding one of the snap pieces that are enlarged in diameter, and can reduce in diameter the snap pieces manually. The snap pieces deform elastically in the radial direction, upon insertion in a through hole formed in a chassis or the like, and are fitted in the through hole, so as to clamp the chassis or the like together with the leg pieces. The post includes a stopper portion for prohibiting the post from being inclined in the through hole at not less than a predetermined angle.

  • Patent number: 5942964
Abstract: A noise absorbing apparatus includes a pair of ferrite members and a pair of covers. The ferrite members are located to oppose each other in tight contact with each other to clamp a cable therebetween. The covers cover the ferrite members. The covers form opening portions through which the cable is inserted. The covers are integrally formed with cable clamping pieces partly projecting in a radially inward direction of the opening portions. Each of the cable clamping pieces has a direction of thickness which is aligned with the radial direction of the cable. The cable is clamped with an elastic deformation force of the cable clamping pieces in the direction of thickness.

  • Patent number: 5367749
Abstract: This cable tie is constituted by a band portion (1) and a lock portion (2). The lock portion (2) has an elastically deformable sawtooth lock piece (24) and stopper means (23, 26). The sawtooth lock piece (24) opposes a slot in which the band portion (1) is inserted from a distal end side thereof and engages with a sawtooth belt portion of the band portion (1), thereby locking the band portion (1). The stopper means (23, 26) suppress deformable movement of the sawtooth lock piece (24) when a force in a pull-out direction is applied to the band portion (1). When a force is applied to the sawtooth lock piece (24) through the band portion (1), excessive deformation of the sawtooth lock piece (24) is suppressed by the stopper means (23, 26), thereby preventing the sawtooth lock piece (24) from being disengaged or damaged.
