  • Patent number: 10861304
Abstract: An image signal processing DSP subjects an image captured by an imaging element having a zoom lens to image processing for identifying a tracking target. In accordance with zoom information generated by the image signal processing DSP, the main CPU controls the zoom lens and controls a turn table that moves the imaging element in panning and tilting directions in accordance with pan and tilt information, to track the tracking target. During tracking of the tracking target, a determination is made, from information about movements of the tracking target generated by the image signal processing DSP, as to whether or not the target to be tracked has intruded the inside of the area from the outside. In a case where the target has intruded the inside of a preset area from the outside, an alarm command is produced when the target continually remains in the area for; e.g., one second.

  • Patent number: 9014549
Abstract: A dome-type camera includes a camera lens capable of rotating in a tilt direction, a dome cover for covering the camera lens, and an aperture control unit for controlling the amount of aperture of the camera lens. The amount of aperture is set to become smaller from an open value toward a closed value in accordance with the tilt angle of the camera lens becoming smaller from a zenith direction of the dome cover toward a horizontal direction. According to this dome-type camera, a desirable low tilt angle image with a reduced blur may be obtained even with a megapixel dome camera.

  • Patent number: 8885092
Abstract: A camera device (1) includes an imaging unit (2) which outputs a long exposure signal and a short exposure signal in one field period. A face detection unit (8) detects a face area from an image captured by the imaging unit (2). The weighting processing unit (12) applies a weighting process to luminance data of the long exposure signal in the detected face area using a weighting constant for reducing the luminance level of the long exposure signal. If the luminance level of the weighting-processed long exposure signal rises to a predetermined saturation level or higher, an exposure control unit (15) performs exposure control using the long exposure signal and the short exposure signal. This can suppress occurrence of a noise due to a short exposure signal (flickering) in the face area, thereby improving visibility in the face area.

  • Patent number: 8810195
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an electronic device capable of receiving payment of a charge required for a charging process even though a secondary battery of the electronic device ran into an overdischarge state and also extricating itself from the overdischarge state, and a charger used for the same. A charger (3) executes a power transmission before it conducts a proximity noncontact communication with an electronic device (2), continues this power transmission until a preliminary charging stop notification signal is sent from the electronic device (2), and conducts the proximity noncontact communication regarding to a billing process with the electronic device (2) when the preliminary charging stop notification signal is sent. After the communication regarding to the billing process is ended, the charger (3) gives a charge of electricity to the electronic device (2) again.

  • Patent number: 8514281
Abstract: There is provided an imaging apparatus which can prevent a privacy zone from being shifted from a mask when a magnification converting lens is switched. The imaging unit (3) has an extender (29) which is a magnification converting lens capable of switching between an inserted state and an extracted state with respect to an optical axis. The signal processing circuit (5) composites a mask to an object region of the privacy zone in the image generated by the imaging unit (3). The control unit (13) controls the signal processing circuit (5) according to switching of the extender (29). When the extender (29) is switched, the control unit (13) instructs the signal processing circuit (5) to change the mask region in the image according to the magnification shift caused by the switching of the extender (29) and maintains the privacy zone in a masked state after the signal processing circuit (5) is switched.

  • Patent number: 8477212
Abstract: A camera device is provided with an imager that outputs a long exposure signal and a short exposure signal within one field period; a knee processor that compresses a long exposure signal having the luminance level of a knee point or higher at a compression rate (i.e., decreases an inclination of an incident light amount-luminance level line, representing a variation in a luminance level with an amount of incident light); and a knee controller that adjusts the knee point and the compression rate according to a luminance level of a synthesized signal obtained by synthesizing the long exposure signal and the short exposure signal. In this knee control, the knee point decreases with an increase in the luminance level of the synthesized signal, and the inclination is adjusted to approach an original inclination thereof.
