  • Patent number: 10205335
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a storage battery management device includes a chargeable/dischargeable capacity table, a controller, and a communication controller. The chargeable/dischargeable capacity table stores therein in advance a chargeable/dischargeable capacity corresponding to a temperature, a state of charge (SOC), a required charge rate or discharge rate, and a battery degradation rate of a secondary battery. The controller calculates an actual chargeable/dischargeable capacity by referring to the chargeable/dischargeable capacity table based on the temperature, the SOC, the required charge rate or discharge rate, and the battery degradation rate of the secondary battery. The communication controller informs a host device about the chargeable/dischargeable capacity of the secondary battery.

  • Publication number: 20180172773
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a storage battery device in which a plurality of battery boards are connected in parallel, each of the battery boards including a plurality of cell modules connected in series, and each of the cell modules including a battery cell, includes a performance value acquisition unit and an information generator. The performance value acquisition unit acquires a performance value of the cell module. The information generator generates rearrangement information. The rearrangement information is information for performing rearrangement of the cell module between the plurality of battery boards based on the acquired performance value of the cell module to reduce a variation in the performance value of the cell module after being rearranged in one battery board than before being rearranged.

  • Publication number: 20160372935
Abstract: A storage battery management device according to an embodiment includes a chargeable/dischargeable capacity table that stores therein in advance a chargeable/dischargeable capacity corresponding to a temperature, a state of charge (SOC), a required charge rate or discharge rate, and a battery degradation rate of a secondary battery; a controller that calculates an actual chargeable/dischargeable capacity by referring to the chargeable/dischargeable capacity table based on the temperature, the SOC, the required charge rate or discharge rate, and the battery degradation rate of the secondary battery; and a communication controller that informs a host device about the calculated chargeable/dischargeable capacity of the secondary battery. Even in a storage battery system that repeats charging/discharging constantly, this configuration can correctly estimate the actual chargeable/dischargeable capacity and stably operate the storage battery system.

  • Publication number: 20060086785
Abstract: In the case where a portable electronic apparatus having a rewritable non-volatile memory updates a first application stored in a storage area of the non-volatile memory with a second application, the apparatus installs the second application for updating a first application on a storage area of the non-volatile memory while retaining information for use in the first application stored in the storage area of the non-volatile memory and restores the retained information for use in the first application as the information for use in the installed second application.
