Abstract: An information processing system of the present invention records information on distribution when information is distributed so that an information distribution route is traced later. In the information processing system, when information held in an information holding section is distributed from an information distribution section to a different information intervention system, a distribution sensing section senses it and records its distribution history in a distribution history holding section. When an information tracing instruction is given, a history collection section fetches distribution histories related to the information to be traced from the distribution history holding section, detects the destination, and instructs the destination information intervention system to trace the information. In response to the instruction, history information is collected from the different information intervention system and is stored in a collected history holding section.

Abstract: A document processing system is operative to switch easily the scheme of emphasis and distinction of certain elemental contents of a document between the multicolor scheme and the monochrome multi-shape scheme based on key-markers that do not appear as special command symbols in the document. The system comprises an element information register means which holds first information and second information which determine the visual feature of document elements, first default value register means which holds a default value of the first information, a discrimination means which detects as to whether or not the first information of a document element held by the element information register means is different from the default value, and a setting means which sets the second information for a document element with first information that is different from the default value.

Abstract: An information processing method and an information processing system for recording information concerning a distribution route of one information, thereby enabling the information distribution route to be traced later. Information held in an information holding section 11 has distribution history information held in an information label section. When information is sent from one information intervention system to another information intervention system, a distribution history write section 15 reads a system identifier from a system label section 14 and adds a sending history to the distribution history information of the information. When information is received from another information intervention system, likewise a reception history is added to the distribution history information of the information. A tracing result display section 16 fetches the distribution history information of specified information, carries out an analysis on it, and displays the analysis result in a predetermined display format.
