    Abstract: An anti-vibration device is secured to a vibration source and a vibration transmission portion to inhibit transmission of vibration, and includes a first elastically deformed portion, a second elastically deformed portion and a third elastically deformed portion. The first elastically deformed portion is a plate having a thickness in a first thickness direction and vibrates in the first thickness direction to configure a path for the vibration to be transmitted from the vibration source to the vibration transmission portion. The second elastically deformed portion is a plate having a thickness in a second thickness direction intersecting the first thickness direction and vibrates in the second thickness direction to configure the path. The third elastically deformed portion is a plate having a thickness in a third thickness direction intersecting the first thickness direction and the second thickness direction and vibrates in the third thickness direction to configure the path.

    Abstract: A process for producing an azulene derivative useful as a Na+-glucose cotransporter inhibitor, which is high in yield, is simple in operation, is low in cost, is suited for environmental protection, and is advantageous industrially, the process being characterized by reducing and deprotecting at least one compound selected from penta-acyl compounds and tetra-acyl compounds or salts thereof to obtain a C-glycoside compound; and a useful intermediate for synthesis of such an azulene derivative, obtained in the course of the above process.

    Abstract: A method of operating a graphics system, in which a host processor sends a display terminal image data and image orders. The image orders coordinate the position and size of a source rectangle area and the postion of a destination rectangle area in an image storage memory. The image data of the souce rectangle area is rotated by a rotation angle of 90 degrees, 180 degrees or 270 degrees and is stored in the image storage memory. The image storage memory operates as a storage buffer of a display unit, which displays the image data of the destination rectangle area. The image storage memory is partitioned into areas of K bits. Image data is rotated in blocks of K.times.K bits.
