  • Patent number: 4699581
Abstract: A multi-cylinder type injection molding apparatus comprises a shifting table that can be moved toward a fixed head supporting a mold and having a plurality of sprues. The apparatus includes a plurality of injection cylinders mounted on the shifting table that can be moved to a direction orthogonal to the moving direction of the shifting table by a ball screw mechanism, a servo motor, and a numerical control to align the nozzle portions of the injection cylinders with the sprues. The apparatus also includes a mechanism for injecting molten molding material from the injection cylinders into the sprues. In one embodiment of the apparatus, the injecting conditions of each injection cylinder is controlled independently.

  • Patent number: 4636160
Abstract: A device for tightening a coil on a cylindrical body. The device has a first anchor for connecting one end of the heater coil to the cylindrical body, and a second anchor for connecting the second end of the coil to a rotatable ring on the cylindrical which forms a passageway between an injector and a mold in an injection molding apparatus. A threaded portion is arranged on the rotatable ring so that it engages directly with the cylindrical body or with a stationary ring member on the cylindrical body in a manner similar to a worm gear mechanism. Due to the rotation of the threaded member, a force is generated to stretch the coil, thus bringing the coil into positive contact with the surface of the cylindrical body along the entire length of the coil.

  • Patent number: 4212629
Abstract: Apparatus and method for local forced heating of an auto body characterized in that a joint build up with plastic solder on the steel plate of an auto body is placed under a hood which locally covers the joint; then a hot air blast is supplied to the hood. The hot air blast is evenly diffused by means of a stream-rectifying plate installed in the hood, and thus the built up plastic solder can be hardened through local forced heating.

  • Patent number: 4195607
Abstract: A blow-by gas recirculating device includes an inlet pipe in communication with the intake passage for an automobile engine, and a heat-insulating member. Particularly, the inlet pipe communicates between a blow-by gas producing source and a heat-insulating member positioned between a carburetor and an intake manifold, all forming part of an intake system for the engine. The heat-insulating member has two intake through-holes which form part of the intake passage for the engine and an inlet-pipe-admitting hole which extends from the outer side-surface of the member to the peripheral surface of one of the intake through-holes. The inlet pipe, one end of which is disposed in the inlet-pipe-admitting hole, has an average coefficient of linear expansion of no less than 16.7.times.10.sup.-6 /deg. in a temperature range of -20.degree. to 200.degree. C., and a modulus of longitudinal elasticity of no more than 12980 kg/mm.sup.2.
