  • Publication number: 20140097718
Abstract: Disclosed is a magnetic flux concentrated-type brushless motor performing field weakening control and reducing iron loss. The teeth of the stator are provided with a stator-side wide-width portion, and the rotor is provided with magnetic members having a rotor-side wide-width portion, and magnets disposed between the magnetic members. The motor is driven for a certain time in a low rate of rotation (LRR) section and a high rate of rotation (HRR) section. Field weakening control is performed in the HRR section. When the number of pairs of opposite poles of the rotor is P, a length of a radial line of the rotor-side wide-width portion R, a thickness of the stator-side wide-width portion Lt, a central angle of the stator-side wide-width portion ?t, a central angle the rotor-side wide-width portion ?r, and a central angle between any two neighboring magnets ?M, the motor is set such that ?r?2.85×?m?2.65×?t and (Lt×P)/(??×R)??t/?m?0.6.

  • Patent number: 7787046
Abstract: A voice coil motor lens module has a two part casing accommodating a magnet housing of annular form with an outer wall and an inner wall joined by a top wall. One or more magnets producing a magnetic field, are fitted to the inner surface of the outer wall. A lens holder, for supporting a lens, has a coil fitted to an outer surface thereof and is suspended by a pair of springs such that the coil is disposed within the magnetic field. The lens holder has an inner bore and an axially upper end. The inner wall extends into the inner bore of the lens holder and the upper end of the lens holder rests, in a park position, against an upper cushion fixed to an inner surface of the top wall. In use, current passing through the coil moves the lens holder downwardly to focus an image on an image sensor below the lens holder. At a fully extended position, the lower end of the lens holder rests against a lower cushion fixed to the casing.

  • Publication number: 20080192124
Abstract: A voice coil motor lens module has a lens holder adapted to carry a lens or lens assembly. The lens holder supports a coil which interacts with a permanent magnet field generated by one or more permanent magnets supported by a magnet yoke. The maximum axial movement of the lens holder is limited by the magnet yoke.

  • Patent number: 6127760
Abstract: A direct-current motor includes a core including a plurality of teeth arranged in a circular disposition so as to define a plurality of slots, the teeth having distal ends and coil-winding sections respectively, coils wound on the coil-winding sections of the teeth respectively, and pole sections each of which is provided at a distal end side of the corresponding tooth and is circumferentially wider than the corresponding coil-winding section. In the motor, the teeth include first teeth having wider pole sections respectively and second teeth having pole sections narrower than the first teeth. Notches are formed in circumferential corners of the pole sections of the first teeth or members substantially integral with the pole sections of the first teeth respectively.
