Abstract: According to one embodiment, a server apparatus includes a memory which stores a management table indicating a correspondence relation between the terminal IDs and the connection IDs contained in a call information event and state information representing a call connection state between the plurality of telephone terminals, when the call connection is established between the plurality of telephone terminals, a determination unit to determine whether a call connection state between telephone terminals corresponding to the connection IDs is changed by referring to the management table based on the connection IDs contained in the call information event, when the call information event is received, and a controller which updates state information corresponding to the connection IDs in the management table, and performs a data communication connection between data terminals associated with the terminal IDs of the plurality of telephone terminals to be connected, based on the updated status information.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a server apparatus includes an acquiring unit to acquire more than one items of data reception address information included in a data area of a message from each data terminal in connecting the data terminals with one another, a specifying unit to specify address information to receive a data communication based on the data reception address information and address information of a destination of the message, and a notifying unit to notify instruction information to instruct that the address information should be used for the data communication to the data terminal.

Abstract: The present invention provides a drug delivery system that is a sustained drug delivery system targeting a tissue in the posterior segment of the eye accompanied by low degree of tissue invasiveness without need of frequent administration, and enables selective delivery of a drug to the posterior segment of the eye, thereby reducing influences due to transfer of the drug to the anterior segment. By administrating fine particles containing a drug to sub-Tenon, a drug delivery system enabling a drug to be selectively delivered to tissues in the posterior segment and an effective concentration to be kept can be constructed.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a server apparatus includes a memory which stores information indicating permission/non-permission of associations with the data terminals by associating with the telephone IDs, a reader which reads out permission information corresponding to a telephone ID of the first telephone terminal included in information for authentication from the memory, when the information for the authentication including the telephone ID of the first telephone terminal arrived from the first data terminal, to request an association with the first telephone terminal, and a controller which records a user ID of the first data terminal in the management table by associating a user ID of the first data terminal with the telephone ID of the first telephone terminal based on the permission information.

Abstract: A wafer stage having a built-in heater therein mounts a heat conductive disk which mounts thereon an object wafer having an AlAs layer therein. The heat conductive disk has a thermal conductivity equal to or higher than 100 watts/K/meter. The Al-oxidized area in the AlAs layer has excellent in-plane uniformity for the width thereof due to desirable heat distribution of the wafer caused by the heat conductive disk.

Abstract: When adding a new function to a key telephone unit BT, a function addition request is transmitted from a user PC of an user system CM to a customer center CC. The function addition request includes information indicative of the function to be added, a credit number, and a telephone number of the key telephone unit. The customer center CC accesses a credit company CR based on the received credit number, carries out credit research of a user. The customer center CC accesses the key telephone unit BT through a public network PNW based on the telephone number, acquires function information of the key telephone unit BT, judges whether the function can be added based on the function information. If addition is possible, the customer center CC transmits a license code of the function to the key telephone unit BT through the public network PNW, thereby setting the function.

Abstract: A personal computer having a speech recognition board and speech synthesis board are connected to a key service unit via a control information communication path and media information communication path. Upon executing an exchange service, it is checked if that exchange service uses media information. When the service uses media information, up and down channels are set on the media information communication path, and voice guidance and a voice dial signal for voice dialing are transferred via these channels, thus making the personal computer execute speech recognition required for voice dialing and a search process of a callee telephone number on the basis of the recognition result.

Abstract: Rare earth element doped silica glass according to the invention is prepared by doping silica-based glass co-doped with a rare earth element and aluminum additionally with fluorine and has excellent physical properties including remarkable light emission characteristics and an excellent capability of being fused with other silica-based glass. Such doped silica glass provides high amplification gains and a wide wavelength bandwidth and therefore can be used as a material for manufacturing miniaturized optical devices. Particularly, since the manufacturing process adapted to produce rare earth element doped silica glass according to the invention does not involve crystallization that normally characterizes the type of doped silica glass under consideration, the obtained doped silica glass is transparent and totally free from air bubbles.
