  • Patent number: 10193998
Abstract: To enable a communication apparatus, which transmits and receives data with a partially reconfigurable logic circuit, to configure a module while continuing a communication process. A communication apparatus transmits and receives data and includes a partially reconfigurable logic circuit and a management unit for managing a circuit configuration of the logic circuit. The logic circuit includes a plurality of modules and a data distribution unit. The management unit fixedly arranges a plurality of coupling interfaces, which are used for sending data to a module determined as a distribution destination of data by the data distribution unit and which are respectively linkable to the plurality of modules, at prescribed positions on the logic circuit, and creates the module in the partially reconfigurable area of the logic circuit so as to be linked to any of the plurality of coupling interfaces.

  • Publication number: 20170070573
Abstract: A data processing device includes: an FPGA that includes a plurality of core circuits to which a data processing function is settable through a program file, and processes input data through the core circuits; an FPGA circuit file storage unit that stores the program file; and a control unit that sets the data processing function to the core circuits. In the data processing device, a request including information specifying the data processing function to be set and the core circuit is transmitted to a file management server, the data processing function is set based on a program file received in response to the request, and the received program file is stored in the FPGA circuit file storage unit.

  • Patent number: 8154999
Abstract: A packet forwarding apparatus for connecting a plurality of user terminals to an ISP management server has a management table indicating the relationship between a connection port identifier and specific header information in association with the MAC address of each of the user terminals so that, in a communication protocol procedure executed between each of the user terminals and the ISP management server prior to communication with a wide-area network, the packet forwarding apparatus discards a packet for the user terminal when it is determined that the specific header information cannot be assigned to the user terminal based on the management table.

  • Publication number: 20100189114
Abstract: The invention addresses reducing time taken to obtain destination MAC addresses or alleviating the workload of manually setting MAC addresses in physical ports for duplicate PtP connections in WAN. A physical port is provided with functionality that, when transmitting a data frame received by the transmission block in the physical port, copies the content of the source MAC address field in the received data frame to the destination MAC address field, selects a destination MAC address randomly, or specifies a fixed value which has been set beforehand as the destination MAC address. The port is also provided with functionality that performs receive processing on a data frame after being received by the reception block without inspecting the destination MAC address field in the MAC header. Thereby, the time to obtain addresses is reduced or the setting workload is lessened.

  • Patent number: 7738463
Abstract: OLT is provided with a field for storing the number of effective bits for searching ONU serial numbers, a field for storing a search start serial number and a field for storing a search end serial number, and ONU serial numbers are searched from the search start serial number to the search end serial number within the number of effective bits to automatically perform acquisition of the ONU serial number and ONU connection. • Patent number: 7664398
Abstract: In a PON system, a PON-ID assigned to a connected ONU before replacement is assigned to a newly connected ONU after the replacement and, setting data before the replacement is succeeded also after the replacement. An OLT includes a PON-ID state where a management state of the PON-ID is stored, a PON-ID management table where the PON-ID and an ONU serial number of the connected ONU and setting data are correspondingly stored and, a delete ONU table where the PON-ID and an ONU serial number of a replacement object are correspondingly stored. • Patent number: 7502380
Abstract: A packet handler includes an interface circuit corresponding in one-to-one relation to each input/output port of a switch. A switch interface including a disconnection circuit and a distribution circuit controls the packet from each interface circuit to a corresponding input port and the packet from the output ports of the switch to each interface circuit. In a set of interface circuits, one redundant transmission path can be replaced arbitrarily with two non-redundant independent transmission paths. The packet communication system can thus accommodate redundant transmission paths and non-redundant transmission paths in an arbitrary ratio.

  • Publication number: 20070110441
Abstract: Communication of a terminal accessing a network by using a static IP address is cut off. A packet transfer device includes plural ports, a protocol processing unit and a control unit. An IP address distribution request by a DHCP protocol from a client terminal is transferred to a DHCP server, and an application of the IP address distribution is received. At that time, the packet transfer device stores information (IP address, MAC address) of the client terminal into a storage unit. Besides, information (IP address, MAC address) of the client terminal is stored into the storage unit also from an ARP packet by ARP resolution by the client terminal or ARP resolution by the packet transfer device itself. When the IP addresses of the stored DHCP packet and the ARP packet coincide with each other, port filtering is performed to the client terminal having transmitted the ARP packet.
