  • Publication number: 20110090216
Abstract: Basic depth models indicate depth values of a plurality of basic scene structures. Statistical amounts of pixel values in predetermined areas in a non-3D image are calculated to generate evaluation values. The basic depth models are combined into a combination result according to a combination ratio depending on the generated evaluation values. Calculation is made as to a skin-color intensity indicative of a degree of a skin color at each pixel of the non-3D image. Depth estimation data is generated from the combination result, the non-3D image, and the calculated skin-color intensity. A texture of the non-3D image is shifted in response to the generated depth estimation data to generate a different-viewpoint picture signal. The generated different-viewpoint picture signal and a picture signal representative of the non-3D image make a stereo pair representing a pseudo 3D image.

  • Publication number: 20100288142
Abstract: In a printer for corrugated cardboard sheets and a box making machine for corrugated cardboard sheets, a control device that controls an operation of an air cylinder is provided such that an ink supply roll is moved toward or away from a printing cylinder relative to an intermediate position of a gap between ends of a printing plate attached on a surface of a printing cylinder. With this configuration, ink of an ink supply roll is appropriately transferred to the printing plate, an ink film on the printing plate is uniformized, and then printing precision is enhanced.

  • Patent number: 7648906
Abstract: A method and apparatus for processing a thin film able to easily form grooves in a conductive thin film on an insulating substrate, comprising bringing a first electrode into contact with the conductive thin film, maintaining a conductive state between a tip of a second electrode with a voltage applied with respect to the first electrode and the surface of the conductive thin film, and using the tip of the second electrode to scan the conductive thin film so as to thereby form grooves passing through the thickness of the conductive thin film and exposing the surface of the insulating substrate at their bottoms in the conductive thin film.

  • Publication number: 20080236662
Abstract: In a solar cell module in which a plurality of dye sensitized solar cells is arranged on a plane basis and is connected in series with an intercell region interposed therebetween, a first transparent substrate, a first transparent conductive film, a dye carrying oxide semiconductor layer, an electrolyte layer, a catalyst layer, a second transparent conductive film and a second transparent substrate are laminated, an insulating barrier seals cells on both sides thereof in fluid tightness and insulates them in the intercell region, an electrode connecting portion provided in a central part in a vertical direction of the insulating barrier connects an extended portion of the first transparent conductive film of one of the cells on the both sides to that of a second transparent conductive film of the other cell, and the electrode connecting portion penetrates through at least one of the first transparent substrate and the second transparent substrate in the vertical direction and is thus exposed.

  • Patent number: 5993367
Abstract: A method and system for determining the bonding quality of a bonded area of a flapped boxmaking blank in a boxmaking apparatus at an assembling station of a production line, where opposite end portions of the blank are bonded together with confronting edges of companion end flaps defining a required gap, in terms of the outline of the gap. The quality determination is accomplished by irradiating sheetlike light onto the bonded area across the gap, forming an image of the irradiated light as a light image line composed of discrete segments which are arranged along a reference line for the flap portions and include at least one line segment located off the reference line, computing a ratio of a length of the off-line segment to the entire length of the light image line to obtain a width of the gap, and comparing the width of the gap with a preset reference value.
