Abstract: In a method for obtaining hardware resource, one of the hardware resources in the system, which resources have not been obtained, is obtained for the resource usage of a hardware resource obtaining request, when each use rate of the hardware resources, which have been obtained and which resource usages are identical with that of the hardware resource obtaining request exceeds a predetermined threshold.

Abstract: An output power control circuit is provided in a casing of a mobile radio apparatus together with an automatic power control circuit and an RF signal amplifier. The output power control circuit applied level control signals to the automatic power control circuit for maintaining the power level of the output RF signal of the RF amplifier at one of a plurality of output power levels corresponding to the level control signals. The output power control circuit has a receiver, a temperature sensing circuit and a logic circuit. The receiver receives RF signals transmitted by a master station and detects power level setting command signals included in the received RF signal. The temperature sensing circuit detects an internal temperature of the casing and provides a power reduction signal upon detecting that the internal temperature has exceeded a predetermined temperature.

Abstract: In a telephone apparatus comprising a locking arrangement for holding a handset on a base unit, protrusion members are provided on the base unit so as to confront and outer inner sides of the receiver part of the handset. When the handset is mounted on the base unit, one of the protrusion members being movable, engagement parts provided on the outer and the inner sides of the receiver part engage the protrusion members. The movable protrusion member is resiliently held and retracted by abutment and sliding with the receiver part as the handset is lifted off the base unit and as the handset is mounted onto the base unit.
