Publication number: 20240359452Abstract: A sheet laminator including a thermal pressure roller, a power cutoff device, a mover, a power line, and circuitry. The thermal pressure roller pair includes first and second rollers, and first and second heaters, to form a nip region to press and convey a two-ply sheet. The power cutoff device detects a change in temperature of at least one of the first or second roller, and cuts off a power to at least one of the first or second heater. The mover relatively moves the second roller away from the first roller. The power line couples the power cutoff device to the mover. The circuitry is to cause the power cutoff device to cut off the power line, and cause the mover to relatively move the second roller away from the first roller, in response to the power cutoff to at least one of the first or second heater.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 25, 2024Publication date: October 31, 2024Applicant: Ricoh Company, Ltd.Inventors: Ryohsuke AKAISHI, Yasunobu KIDOURA, Hirofumi HORITA, Satoshi KUNO, Naohiro YOSHIDA

Patent number: 4865749Abstract: The disclosed method and apparatus simultaneously purifies air and water contained in an indoor institution such as an indoor swimming pool facility. Air from the interior of the institution is first treated in a cyclone to remove dust, bacteria and odors, then mixed with ozone generated from a separate air source to form an air-ozone mixture which is distributed in the form of fine bubbles in an air/water contact sterilizing chamber. Water from the pool of water in the indoor institution is filtered and transferred to the sterilizing chamber. In the sterilizing chamber, contact of the filtered water and air-ozone mixture acts to simultaneously purify both. The purified air is returned to the indoor institution after moisture removal, ozone elimination and temperature adjustment. Similarly, the purified water is returned to the pool of water after ozone elimination, temperature adjustment and chlorination.Type: GrantFiled: March 25, 1988Date of Patent: September 12, 1989Inventor: Yasunobu Yoshida
