  • Patent number: 11937104
Abstract: A radio wave environment analyzer includes a memory that holds location information on a radio transmitter disposed in a target area where a moving body is present and location information on a reference point at which a radio wave from the radio transmitter is received, and a processor that obtains (i) a first reception intensity of the radio wave at the reference point when the moving body is present at an initial location and (ii) a plurality of second reception intensities of the radio wave at the reference point respectively corresponding to cases where the moving body is present at a plurality of movement locations. The processor selects one or more locations out of the plurality of movement locations to execute a simulation of a radio wave environment in the target area, based on the first reception intensity and the plurality of second reception intensities.

  • Patent number: 11912037
Abstract: An ink is circulated in a circulation path including a supply sub-tank, a discharge head and a collection sub-tank in a head unit. If the amount of the ink in the head unit decreases, the ink stored in the buffer tank is replenished to the head unit. On the other hand, in a first non-replenishment time during which the ink is not replenished, the ink is circulated through the buffer tank, the collection sub-tank and the supply sub-tank in this order. Thus, a temperature fluctuation of the replenishment ink stored in the buffer tank is suppressed. As a result, even if the ink is replenished to the head unit from the buffer tank, physical properties, particularly a viscosity, of the ink do not largely vary.

  • Publication number: 20180278784
Abstract: A communication control device includes a communication unit, a reception unit, and a controller. The communication unit transfers first image data obtained from a first processing device to an external control device for each portion among portions that are predetermined transfer units, and transfers second image data transferred from the external control device to a second processing device, the communication control device and the external control device being included in a system and being connected to each other via a communication line for half-duplex communication. The reception unit receives a signal that is transmitted during an interval between the portions of the first image data. The controller performs control so as to start obtaining the second image data transferred from the external control device in a case where the signal is received by the reception unit.

  • Publication number: 20180278785
Abstract: A communication control device includes a communication unit, an acquiring unit, and an adjusting unit. The communication unit transfers first image data acquired from a first processing unit to an external controller of a system, receives second image data transferred from the external controller during an interval between pieces of the first image data transferred in predetermined units, and transfers the received second image data to a second processing unit. The system includes the communication control device and the external controller connected to the communication control device by a half-duplex communication line. The acquiring unit acquires a length of a transfer period for transferring the second image data. The adjusting unit adjusts timing of acquiring the first image data in accordance with the length of the transfer period acquired by the acquiring unit.

  • Publication number: 20180270390
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a switching unit and a controller. The information processing apparatus performs a data sending and receiving operation with an external apparatus via a data line which is compliant with a predetermined standard. The switching unit switches the information processing apparatus to a host device or a non-host device in accordance with a state of the information processing apparatus. The controller controls a data sending and receiving operation performed with the external apparatus. The controller controls a data sending and receiving operation for a host device when the information processing apparatus is switched to the host device. The controller controls a data sending and receiving operation for a non-host device when the information processing apparatus is switched to the non-host device.

  • Patent number: 9415407
Abstract: An electrostatic coating apparatus includes: a spray gun configured to spray a coating material onto a coating object; a voltage application device configured to apply a high voltage to the spray gun; and a current measurement device configured to measure electric current flowing through the spray gun. When the spray gun, which is in a state of not spraying the coating material onto the coating object and is under application of the high voltage from the voltage application device, is located at a distance from the coating object, the electric current flowing through the spray gun is measured by the current measurement device. A grounded state of the coating object is checked, based on the measured electric current. This shortens the time required for checking the grounded state, while allowing for downsizing and simplified configuration of production equipment and reduction of equipment cost.

  • Patent number: 5762663
Abstract: A wet dust collecting apparatus has a housing, a suction passage formed in the housing for sucking hot dust, a water tub arranged in the housing, a mist room formed in part by water in the water tub, and further defined by a partition plate arranged downstream of a chamber associated with the sucking passage. A dust filter is arranged downstream of the mist room, and a fan sucks hot dust into the suction passage, through a comb-toothed mist generator arranged between the chamber associated with the suction passage and the mist room. Dust-containing air is sucked in the suction passage and blown through the mist generator so as to vibrate the water surface thereby generating mist in the mist room. The hot dust is absorbed by the mist and cooled thereby. The hot dust containing mist is collected by the dust filter thereby separating the dust and water content from the air.
