  • Publication number: 20240109982
Abstract: A representative point of each of the plurality of first cooling pipes in a plane substantially perpendicular to an extending direction of the straight body is located substantially on a circumference of any of a plurality of virtual circles arranged substantially concentrically in the substantially perpendicular plane. A number Nc [units] of the plurality of virtual circles and a proportion CZ [mg-dispersing aid/kg-monomer] of a mass of the dispersing aid to a mass of one or more types of monomers to be materials of the polymer satisfy a particular relationship.

  • Publication number: 20240091734
Abstract: In a reactor apparatus including a reactor having a straight body, an agitation shaft, and an agitating blade, dimensions of the straight body, dimensions of the agitating blade, and a set value of a number of rotations of the agitation shaft satisfy a relationship represented by N(b/d)(L/D)/n?6.0. N represents a number of agitating blades, b represents a maximum value [m] of blade widths of the agitating blades, d represents a maximum value [m] of blade diameters of the agitating blades, L represents a length [m] of the straight body in an extending direction, D represents a maximum value [m] of diameters of inscribed circles substantially inscribed in the straight body, and n represents the set value of the number of rotations [rps] of the agitation shaft.

  • Publication number: 20240091735
Abstract: A reactor apparatus includes a reactor having a tubular shape, and a plurality of first cooling pipes arranged inside the reactor, for circulating a coolant. Each of the plurality of first cooling pipes has a serpentine portion that extends while repeatedly bending. The serpentine portion includes a plurality of extending portions that extend linearly or extend while curving, and a plurality of bending portions which couple ends of two adjacent extending portions, among the plurality of extending portions. At least two of the plurality of first cooling pipes have different distances from an inner wall surface of the reactor.

  • Patent number: 8317629
Abstract: An inner joint member for a constant velocity universal joint is incorporated in an outer joint member and has multiple ball track grooves which are formed in an outer diameter surface thereof. A spherical surface roughness in a range extending from an axial center of the outer diameter surface to an end side of the outer diameter surface which corresponds to an opening side of the outer joint member is larger than a spherical surface roughness in a range extending from the axial center of the outer diameter surface to an end side of the outer diameter surface which corresponds to an inner side of the outer joint member.

  • Patent number: 8313387
Abstract: A cage for a constant velocity universal joint include, an outer diameter surface guided by an outer joint member; an inner diameter surface guided by an inner joint member; and pockets for accommodating multiple balls which are interposed between the outer joint member and the inner joint member. A spherical surface roughness in a range extending from an axial center of the inner diameter surface to an end side of the inner diameter surface which corresponds to an opening side of the outer joint member is different from a spherical surface roughness in a range extending from the axial center of the inner diameter surface to an end side of the inner diameter surface which corresponds to an inner side of the outer joint member.

  • Publication number: 20110118036
Abstract: Provided is an inner joint member for a constant velocity universal joint, which is capable of extending a life of a cutting tool and achieving reduction in manufacturing cost. The inner joint member for a constant velocity universal joint is incorporated in an outer joint member (3) and has multiple ball track grooves (5) which are formed in an outer diameter surface (4) thereof. A spherical surface roughness in a range extending from an axial center (15) of the outer diameter surface (4) to an end (A) side of the outer diameter surface (4) which corresponds to an opening side of the outer joint member (3) is larger than a spherical surface roughness in a range extending from the axial center (15) of the outer diameter surface (4) to an end (B) side of the outer diameter surface (4) which corresponds to an inner side of the outer joint member (3).

  • Patent number: 4241928
Abstract: A boot seal mounted on a pivotal ball joint comprises a boss portion, a waist portion disposed in the outer periphery of the boss portion and a skirt portion disposed in the outer periphery of the waist portion. The boss portion has an upper surface brought into intimate contact with a lower end surface of a joint member mounted on a shank of the ball joint, and the skirt portion has an internal wall brought into intimate contact with an upper outer periphery of a socket housing in the ball joint. The boss portion is provided at its lower surface with a flare portion protruded downward and outward. The flare portion has, while being elastically flexed, a lower edge placed in touch with an upper end surface of the socket housing. This elasticity of the flare portion provides a close contact between the lower edge of the flare portion and the upper end surface of the socket housing and a close contact between the upper surface of the boss portion and the lower end surface of the joint member.

  • Patent number: 4121844
Abstract: Disclosed is an inverted cup-shaped cover of deformable material to be fitted over an open socket housing end of a pivotal ball joint assembly. The cover has a pair of opposite end openings, one of which is considerably smaller in diameter than the other and receives therethrough in sealed relationship the shank of a ball stud protruding from the housing through an open end thereof. The cover has a gently curved longitudinal sectional configuration and is flared toward its other end opening at which it is fitted over the open end of the housing. A ring is embedded in the flared portion of the cover and has an inner circumferential edge exposed toward the interior of the cover. This inner edge is sharp-angled and has a diameter slightly smaller than the maximum diameter of the housing at the open end thereof. This ring is formed of resilient material, for example, spring steel.
