  • Patent number: 7952473
Abstract: A liquid level detecting apparatus includes a liquid level sensor of a variable resistance type which includes a sliding contact and a resistor, and which detects a resistance change corresponding to a change of a liquid level of a liquid in a tank and outputs a detection signal based on the change of the liquid level when the liquid level sensor is energized and a controlling unit which controls to supply energization pulses periodically to the liquid level sensor, and controls a displaying portion to display a remaining amount of the liquid in the tank, on the basis of the detection signal output from the liquid level sensor. The controlling unit changes a number of the energization pulses supplied to the liquid level sensor in a predetermined time, on the basis of the detection signal output from the liquid level sensor.

  • Publication number: 20100315066
Abstract: A current sensor for measuring a current supplied to a conductor includes a case which accommodates an electrical parts therein, and a cover attached to the case. A groove part is provided on an outer surface of at least one of the case and the cover to allow the conductor to pass through the groove part. When the cover is attached to the case, the conductor arranged on the groove part is sandwiched between the case and the cover. A width of the groove part becomes narrower toward an interior side thereof.

  • Patent number: 7541911
Abstract: In a resistance plate, a first slide portion includes a plurality of first conductive segments arranged at intervals generally in a direction of sliding movement of a sliding arm, the adjacent first conductive segments being connected together via a resistor. A first conducting path 13 extends between the first slide portion and a first end land to electrically connect them together, the first end land being provided for detecting a quantity of electricity appearing according to the positions of the first conductive segment and a second conductive segment which are held in contact with the sliding arm. A protector is formed on the first conducting path to cover this first conducting path. The protector and the resistor are made of the same material.
