  • Publication number: 20070217783
Abstract: A lens assembly includes a lens barrel. A photographing lens system is contained in the lens barrel, and has a first lens on an objective side. A lens opening is formed in the lens barrel, for passing object light toward the first lens. A lens cover blade closes the lens opening in an openable manner for protection. Support shafts movably support the first lens. A lens moving cam device with an inclined cam surface moves the first lens along an optical axis in response to shifting of the lens cover blade. Furthermore, a cover shifting ring rotates when externally operated, for shifting the lens cover blade. A cover moving mechanism with a pin and hole shifts the lens cover blade when the cover shifting ring rotates. The lens moving cam device moves the first lens along the optical axis in response to rotation of the cover shifting ring.

  • Patent number: 6194712
Abstract: A scanner in which image data can be stored in a memory card and output to a computer is so adapted that a user can tell, at a glance, the destination of the output of image data representing the image of an original. The display screen of the scanner is provided with an output-destination display area. The icon of the memory card is displayed in the display area if the memory card has been loaded in the scanner, and the icon of the computer is displayed in the display area if the computer has been connected to the scanner. When the destination of the output of the image data is designated, the display of the designated destination is enclosed by a frame. The display enclosed by the frame is the destination of the output of image data, thus making it possible to ascertain the destination of the image data output at a glance. Further, the number of originals capable of being stored in the memory card can be ascertained.

  • Patent number: 6128105
Abstract: A sheet with a thickness .DELTA.x is attached on a surface of a plate glass in an image reading area, against which a subject-sheet is pressed, so that an air layer of thickness .DELTA.x can be formed between the surface of the plate glass and a surface of the subject-sheet at the opposite side. The thickness .DELTA.x is determined to reduce the effects of an optical interference of the illumination light from a light emitting diode. The sheet has an uneven surface in order to decrease an area where the sheet is in contact with the subject-sheet, thus reducing the adhesion between the sheet and the subject-sheet. A member with a low coefficient of friction is used as the sheet.

  • Patent number: 4805052
Abstract: A device for loading and unloading a magnetic disc pack containing a magnetic disc therein into and from a magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus used in an electronic camera in which a regulation plate having a recessed portion is positioned at a position opposed to a magnetic head with the magnetic disc therebetween so as to magnetically record into and reproduce from the magnetic disc. In the loading/unloading device, a regulation plate positioning pin, which is generally erected on the main body of the device to position the regulation plate, is erected on the device main body at a position to correspond to a hole in the magnetic disc pack guided to a magnetically recording/reproducing position and the positioning pin can be brought into engagement with the positioning portion of the regulation plate or a regulation plate holder.

  • Patent number: 4731920
Abstract: A method and a structure for mounting to a head carriage a magnetic head applicable to a magnetic recorder or reproducer in an electronic camera system wherein an object is electronically photographed and recorded into a rotating magnetic disc and an image is reproduced by a television system or a printer. In the method and structure, a pin is inserted through a through-bore in a head mount plate and is then brought into abutment with the head carriage. Adhesives are applied to clearances between the pin and the through-bore of the head mount plate as well as between the pin and the abutment surface of the head carriage to fill them up. In the method and structure, since the head mount plate is adhesively attached to the head carriage via the pin, the resultant adhesive layers are reduced in thickness, thereby preventing the magnetic head from shifting out of position when the adhesives are hardened.
