This electric storage device includes a case having a first inner surface and a second inner surface adjacent to the first inner surface, an electrode assembly housed in the case and including a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate insulated from each other, an electrode terminal disposed outside the case, and a current collector housed in the case and electrically connecting the electrode assembly and the electrode terminal to each other. A distal end edge of a distal end portion of the current collector is supported on the first inner surface of the case.
