  • Patent number: 6115562
Abstract: A toner image which is carried by a photosensitive endless belt is pressed against a printing paper by a transfer opposed roller provided inside the photosensitive belt to transfer the toner image onto the printing paper, and the image transferred onto the printing paper is fixed. The position of the transfer roller which is moved inside the photosensitive belt is detected by a detector. When the detected position agrees with a predetermined position, the moving direction is reversed by a control unit and the moving distance of the transfer roller is varied in accordance with the size of the image ad, further, the contamination of the backside of the printing paper is avoided.

  • Patent number: 6085057
Abstract: An image forming device and an image forming method for transporting a toner image on an endless belt shaped toner image transporting member. The toner image transporting member is supported by a plurality of rollers and is stretched out and made rotatable in the same direction as the recording medium is transported. The colored toner is transported on the outside of the toner image transporting member and is transferred onto stationary recording medium by an opposed image transferring roller while the rotation of the toner image transporting member is suspended. The image transferring process is repeated for the required number of colors.

  • Patent number: 6044240
Abstract: A transverse-type image forming apparatus in which a toner image carried on an endless toner image carrying belt is transferred to a printing paper by a transfer facing roller provided inside the toner image carrying belt and caused to move along the printing paper. A transfer bias voltage is applied to a transfer plate, on which the printing paper is set, during the backward movement of, or during both the forward and backward movements of, the transfer facing roller, so as to cause the toner image to be electrostatically attracted to the printing paper. The uneven transfer of the toner image is reduced.

  • Patent number: 5983061
Abstract: A toner image onto a print form by pressing a photosensitive material belt against a transfer plate through movement of a transfer opposite roller. The photosensitive material belt running in a direction orthogonal to the supply direction of the print form on a transfer plate. The photosensitive material belt is stably maintained at a region completed for transfer in an attitude following the upper surface of the print form.

  • Patent number: 5887238
Abstract: A toner printing machine includes an image forming device forming a toner image on a workpiece, and a heating member from which a heat energy is supplied to the toner image to be fixed to the workpiece, wherein the heating energy is supplied to the toner image while preventing a contact heat energy transmission between the heating member and the toner image.

  • Patent number: 5819133
Abstract: In an image forming apparatus of transverse transfer type, toner images, carried by a toner-image carrying member extended by a plurality of rollers in a direction perpendicular to a direction of feed of printing paper, are transferred by a transfer opposed roller to the printing paper in a direction perpendicular to the direction of feed of the printing paper to be fixed. Among the rollers extending the toner image-carrying member, at least one of those rollers except for the transfer opposed roller, which comes closest to the transfer opposed roller at starting and terminal ends of a longest path of movement of the transfer opposed roller, respectively, is provided at a position spaced from a transfer surface of the printing paper, to which the toner images are transferred, by a distance larger than a diameter of the transfer opposed roller.

  • Patent number: 4866440
Abstract: A data compression and restoration method and an apparatus for realizing same, by which, when identical data patterns appear successively in data information, which may be recorded in a magnetic tape, etc., the data patterns are subjected to a compression operation, the data thus compressed is recorded, and it is restored at the reproduction. When the data patterns appear successively, they are compressed, and the data patterns generated by the compression are subjected to a second compression, after they have been rearranged for the purpose of the second compression. In this way it is possible to record data significantly compressed.
