Abstract: An identification processing apparatus of the present disclosure includes a memory that stores recognition information based on which an authorized person, who has been authorized to utilize at least part of an account for non-cash settlement, is recognized; an identification circuit configured to acquire an identification request that includes identification information from a settlement terminal installed at a store, and performs an identification process, to identify authorized person, by matching the recognition information with the identification information, the store being where the authorized person purchases a commercial product by utilizing the account; and a communication circuit configured to receive the identification information from the settlement terminal, and transmit a result of the identification to the settlement terminal.
