  • Patent number: 7695254
Abstract: A pump case of an electric pump is constructed by coupling a first pressed member formed with a cylindrical part for holding a first rolling ball bearing rotatably supporting a rotary shaft, and a second pressed member formed with a recess for receiving an inner rotor provided at a tip end of the rotary shaft to each other. Because the first pressed member and the second pressed member are formed by deep-drawing work, it is possible to achieve simplification of the structure and reduction of the cost, as compared with the pump case which has been produced from an aluminum die casting or the like, as in the related art.

  • Patent number: 7497800
Abstract: In a method of operating an electric motor which drives an auxiliary oil pump for supplying a hydraulic pressure of an ATF to a transmission, only at an idle stop of an engine via a rotation shaft pivotally supported by ball bearings, the electric motor is rotated at a very low speed or in an intermittent manner when an automobile is traveling and the auxiliary oil pump is not used. According to the configuration, the electric motor is slightly rotated during when the automobile is traveling, whereby impressions are prevented from being formed on the ball bearings.

  • Publication number: 20070182259
Abstract: In an electric pump unit in which a single shaft (main shaft) functions both as a rotation shaft of a pump section and that of a motor section, a rotor of a motor has a structure in which a magnet is embedded in a rotor core (IPM structure). According to the configuration, in the electric pump unit of the invention, it is not required to dispose a protective ring in the periphery of the rotor core. In addition, rotation of the main shaft can be supported by the inner-diameter face of the stator core. Accordingly, the electric pump unit of the invention can be configured as an electric pump unit which is lighter, more compact, and more economical as compared with a conventional product.

  • Patent number: 5454882
Abstract: The invention is a method for the accurate control of the conversion film thickness produced on aluminiferous metal materials by fluorine-containing acidic conversion treatment baths; and a simple method for determining the EFC value (Effective Fluorine Concentration). The EFC value is determined by potentiometric titration of a fluorine-containing acidic conversion treatment bath having pH<4 without prior pH adjustment using a fluorine ion electrode as indicator electrode. The titrant is an aqueous solution containing the Al ion, La ion, Y ion, Zr ion, Ga ion, Ce ion, or Be ion, an inflection point in the potential curve is used as an indication of the activity of the conversion treatment bath.
