  • Patent number: 8389435
Abstract: A metal oxide catalyst carrier particle has a center portion and an outer skin portion each containing a first metal oxide and a second metal oxide. The center portion and the outer skin portion are different in composition. The mole fraction of the metal of the first metal oxide is higher in the center portion than in the outer skin portion and the mole fraction of the metal of the second metal oxide is higher in the outer skin portion than in the center portion. The second metal oxide is selected from the group consisting of rare earth oxides, except for ceria, and alkali earth metal oxides. In addition, platinum is supported on the metal oxide catalyst carrier particle, thus forming an exhaust gas purification catalyst.

  • Publication number: 20120200364
Abstract: An oscillator and a semiconductor integrated circuit device with an internal oscillator capable of compensating the temperature characteristics even when there is a large parasitic capacitance too large to ignore directly between the output terminals of the oscillator. In an oscillator containing an inductance element L, and a capacitive element C, and an amplifier each coupled in parallel across a first and second terminal, the amplifier amplifies the resonance generated by the inductance element and capacitive element and issues an output from the first terminal and the second terminal, and in which a first resistance element with a larger resistance value than the parasitic resistance of the inductance element between the first terminal and the second terminal, is coupled in serial with the capacitive element between the first terminal and the second terminal.

  • Publication number: 20070059376
Abstract: A platelet substitute which does not induce formation of unnecessary thrombi and intravascular coagulation of blood, by causing aggregation of resting platelets in the blood vessel, and has a specific aggregation action is provided. It was found as a result that a peptide conjugate, in which a synthesized form of a dodecapeptide contained in the GPIIb/IIIa recognizing site of fibrinogen is bound to a micro particle, has a property to bind specifically to only substantially activated GPIIb/IIIa, which is preferable as a platelet substitute, thereby accomplishing the present invention.

  • Patent number: 6926884
Abstract: The present invention provides a conjugate wherein GP (glycoprotein) Ib and a lipid are bonded via polyalkylene oxide. The present invention also provides a complex (GPIb lipid complex) containing this conjugate and a free lipid. The GPIb lipid complex is expected to have a potential for practical application in a wide range, as a platelet substitute, a pharmaceutical agent for the prophylaxis or treatment of angiopathy, vascular damage and thrombosis, a diagnostic for vWF deficiency and the like, a biological or medical reagent, a reagent for screening platelet aggregation suppressant or antithrombosis, and the like. The GPIb lipid complex of the present invention is also useful as a diagnostic for finding the location of vascular lesion or thrombus formation, or a therapeutic agent thereof. Moreover, the GPIb lipid complex of the present invention is also superior in retention property in blood, which enables continuous expression of a pharmacological action.

  • Patent number: 6806225
Abstract: An NOx storage member including at least one member selected from the group consisting of alkali metals, alkaline-earth metals and rare-earth elements, and at least one noble metal selected from the group consisting of Pt, Pd and Rh are loaded on a support including a porous oxide including TiO2 at least and ZrO2 on which Rh is loaded in advance. H2, which is generated by Rh/ZrO2, inhibits the sulfur poisoning, and the support, which includes TiO2 at least, secures the initial NOx purifying capability, thereby further inhibiting the sulfur poisoning. Accordingly, it is possible to inhibit the NOx storage member from the sulfur poisoning, and to maintain a high NOx conversion even after a durability test.
