  • Patent number: 6589336
Abstract: Performing the post-implantation annealing for recovering crystallinity in a hydrogen atmosphere can successfully suppress the surface roughening on the ion-implanted layers without pre-implantation oxidation. This allows omission of the pre-implantation oxidation and allows ion implantation using only a photoresist film as a mask in a method for producing an epitaxial wafer having buried ion-implanted layers. Since an intentional formation of an oxide film, including such pre-implantation oxidation, on an epitaxial layer is omitted, the number of repetition of the thermal history exerted to the buried ion-implanted layers can be reduced, which effectively suppresses lateral diffusion of implanted ions. Since the formation and removal of the oxide film is thus no more necessary, the number of process steps in the production of the epitaxial wafer can dramatically be reduced.

  • Patent number: 5637171
Abstract: A method for preparing polyvinyl chloride sheets for membrane press forming which comprises contact bonding of a preheated first polyvinyl chloride sheet on the heating drum, contact bonding of at least one other layer of preheated polyvinyl chloride sheet thereon, contact bonding of a transfer film thereon and embossing by emboss-roll thereon, wherein said transfer film has a laminated structure comprising a polyester film, a release coat layer, a resin coat layer and a hot melt coat layer successively from the surface layer. The method of the present invention provides a sheet for membrane press forming which has excellent stain and scratch resistance. Furthermore, after this sheets is subjected to overlay-laminate forming on materials such as plywood and the like, splendid forms can be obtained without surface cracks caused by expansion.

  • Patent number: 5474100
Abstract: An electricity/air pressure converter comprising a pair of housings, made of a soft magnetic material, in the middle of which pole pieces are disposed facing each other with an air gap therebetween and which have a cylindrically formed outer circumferential portion; a permanent magnet secured to one of the housings at one end thereof and surrounding one of the pole pieces; a movable member, made of a magnetic material and having spring properties, which is secured to the other end of the permanent magnet and which faces the pole pieces in the air gap; a coil which is wound around the other housing so that it surrounds the pole pieces and through which a current signal flows; and a nozzle which is disposed to face the movable member around the center of either of the pole pieces and which is in communication with one end of a restrictor which is supplied with a supply air pressure at the other end thereof, wherein back pressure is generated at the nozzle according to current signals being outputted as an air p

  • Patent number: 4672343
Abstract: A circuit protector for protecting a circuit from an overcurrent including a U-shaped main yoke, a main permanent magnet arranged between legs of the U-shaped yoke, a main coil wound around the main yoke, a movable member made of magnetic material and arranged at an open end of the U-shaped yoke, a magnetic device for generating a magnetic force for moving the movable member in a direction away from the yoke, a movable contact secured to the movable member and a fixed contact provided in opposition to the movable. The coil and the movable and fixed contacts are connected in series with a circuit to be protected across a D.C. power supply source. When an overcurrent flows through the coil, the coil generates a magnetic flux having an opposite direction to that of a magnetic flux induced by the permanent magnet, so that a magnetic force for attracting the movable member to the yoke is decreased.

  • Patent number: 4124831
Abstract: A circuit breaker using magnetic latching force between a magnet element and an attracting magnet member and having a bias spring which normally applies a bias force to the magnet element establishing the magnetic latching force in the closing condition in a direction to separate the magnet element from the magnet member and it also acts to apply a contact pressure to a circuit breaker contact in the same closing condition.
