  • Patent number: 11740311
Abstract: A volume rendering image is obtained based on a 3D MRI image by automatically performing appropriate opacity setting. A three-dimensional image of a subject is received, a distribution of pixel values of the three-dimensional image is calculated, a pixel value of a predetermined feature amount is calculated based on the distribution of the pixel values, and opacity is set for each of the pixel value included in the three-dimensional image based on the pixel value of the feature amount. Accordingly, the opacity can be set automatically. The volume rendering image of the three-dimensional image is generated using the opacity.

  • Patent number: 11701024
Abstract: An automatic clipping technique capable of satisfactorily extracting blood vessels to be extracted is provided. A specific tissue extraction mask image which is created by extracting a specific tissue (for example, a brain) from a three-dimensional image acquired by magnetic resonance angiography and a blood vessel extraction mask image which is created by extracting a blood vessel from an area (a blood vessel search area) which is determined using a preset landmark position and the specific tissue extraction mask image are integrated to create an integrated mask. By applying the integrated mask to the three-dimensional image, a blood vessel is clipped from the three-dimensional image.

  • Patent number: 11526989
Abstract: In brain analysis, anatomical standardization is performed when analyzing a region of interest (ROI). There are individual differences in the shape and size of the brain and by converting the brain into a standard brain, these differences can be compared with each other and subjected to statistical analysis. When generating a standard brain analysis, a large number of pieces of image data are classified into a plurality of groups based on their anatomical features. An intermediate template that is an intermediate conversion image and a conversion map is calculated for each group, and the calculation of the intermediate template and the generation of the intermediate conversion image are repeated while gradually reducing the number of classifications, so that a final standard image is generated. Using the standard image and the intermediate template calculated during the generation of the standard image, spatial standardization of the measured image is performed.

  • Publication number: 20220061691
Abstract: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus captures a morphology image and a function image that are captured with respect to an equal imaging region of an object under examination. Processing for deforming the morphology image is performed using a deformation parameter and moving positions of structural objects included in the morphology image to respective positions of structural objects of a previously determined standard morphology. Then, the function image is deformed using a value of the deformation parameter used in deforming the morphology image to cause a position of a region included in the function image to coincide with a position of a corresponding region of the standard morphology or by using the standard morphology in an opposite direction using the value of the deformation parameter to cause a position of a region of the structural object thereof to coincide with a position of a corresponding region included in the function image.
