  • Patent number: 11949160
Abstract: A distributed antenna includes a strip member extending in a strip-like shape including a dielectric body of a plate shape having a first surface that is one surface of the dielectric body and a second surface that is opposite to the first surface; a transmission line provided on the first surface, on the second surface, or between the first surface and the second surface; and a plurality of antenna elements electrically connected to the transmission line and disposed in a distributed manner on the first surface or on the second surface, or electrically connected to the transmission line and disposed in a distributed manner between the first surface and the second surface.

  • Patent number: 6644851
Abstract: A system, apparatus, method and computer program product for capturing a roentgenogram image comprises: a typical diagnostic type of roentgenogram film projector for holding a roentgenogram film of a predetermined part of patient's body to project the roentgenogram image thereon; an image capturing unit disposed face to face with the projector for capturing the projected roentgenogram image to produce a digital image data; and a personal computer.

  • Patent number: 6081809
Abstract: A computer system referred to as a Database Management System with Nested Time Axes (DBMS with NTA), which cooperates with a Computed Medical File and Chart System (CMFCS), employs data processing techniques to solve problems related to data collection and analysis in daily medical practice. It reconstructs irregularly or regularly collected data and places it into a database table with a standardized time axis acceptable for the CMFCS. Multiple records of an original database at irregular intervals are correlated to a progeny database with a standardized time axis by averaging, maximizing and minimizing. The DBMS with NTA consists of several database tables, each of which has a relational time axis, and corresponding programs to reconstruct a root database table to a progeny database table in hierarchical order.

  • Patent number: 5812983
Abstract: A method for integrating and displaying medical data in which a computer program links a flow sheet of a medical record to medical charts. The flow sheet has a standardized time scale in the rows and a group of data items in the columns. The program determines the position of a cursor in the flow sheet, and interpolates or erases data in cells of the flowsheet as appropriate. Each empty data cell between cells containing real data is interpolated according to a predetermined formula. The interpolation method can be one in which an average of the preceding cell and the subsequent cell are recalculated up to several hundred times. Another interpolation method involves the use of a gradient, row values and an intercept. The resulting medical charts are designed so that therapeutic data and clinical data are simultaneously displayed on the same chart with the same time scale. The system can be connected to a client server system of a computer network.

  • Patent number: 4695178
Abstract: A joint for reinforcing bars includes a joint main body having a pair of substantially parallel side walls and at least one curved wall which connects together the end edges of both side walls, together and a wedge inserted into wedge bores which are respectively provided in the side walls in such a manner so as to be aligned with each other. The end portion of each of the reinforcing bars which are to be connected together are set in such a manner so as to contact the inside of the curved wall, and the wedge is press-fitted into the wedge bores. Thus the end portion of each reinforcing bar is clamped and thereby rigidly secured between the wedge and the curved wall. The curved portion is formed so as to have a substantially V-shaped inner wall surface including a pair of slanting surfaces. Thus, the end portion of each of the reinforcing bars which is pressed by the wedge is pressed against the pair of slanting surfaces and allowed to bite into the area defined therebetween.

  • Patent number: 4000055
Abstract: A method for forming a nitrogen doped-beta tantalum thin film which comprises sputtering tantalum in a nitrogen atmosphere such that the ratio of tantalum atoms to nitrogen atoms in the deposited film ranges from about 9/1 to about 999/1. Such films are useful in the fabrication of thin-film capacitors.
