  • Patent number: 6412888
Abstract: Fitting and exchanging operations are easily performed without using bolts. In a rubber pad 2 to be equipped to an iron crawler belt 1, a vulcanized rubber material 6 is adhered to a second surface of a flat metal core 5 having a first hook 7 and second hook 8 formed at opposite ends of the metal core 5. The length of the second hook 8 is longer than that of the first hook 7, and the length of concavity 9 formed on a first surface of the metal core 5 opposite the longer second hook 8 is no more than one fifth of the length of the metal core 5 in the cross direction of the iron crawler belt.

  • Publication number: 20020039496
Abstract: An image forming apparatus of the present invention includes an image carrier made up of a conductive base and a photoconductive layer and a toner carrier to which a bias for development is applied. The toner carrier conveys toner deposited thereon to a developing position where the toner carrier faces the image carrier, thereby developing a latent image formed on the image carrier. The apparatus effects low-voltage development that protects the image carrier from electrostatic fatigue, obviates background contamination, and realizes image density as high as 0.5×10−3 g/cm2 or above in terms of the amount of toner deposition. Further, the apparatus implements faithful development of the latent image by reducing the edge effect. An image forming process unit removable from the apparatus is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20020028093
Abstract: An image forming apparatus of the present invention includes a developing device of the type causing a developer to form a magnet brush on the surface of a developer carrier in a developing region or nip for development. The magnet brush contacts and thereby develops a latent image formed on an image carrier. The apparatus of the present invention increases image density and faithfully reproduces even low-contrast images with a low-cost configuration. Further, the apparatus reduces image defects, including granularity and the omission of the trailing edge of an image, even if the range over which the magnet brush and image carrier contact is reduced.

  • Patent number: 6070345
Abstract: A bucket tool comprising an edge 7 secured to the lower part of a bucket in a lateral direction, tooth-mounting fittings 8 secured to the edge 7 with an interval between the fittings in the lateral direction, excavation teeth 9 attachably/detachably mounted in the tooth-mounting fittings 8 and protruding forward beyond the edge 7, a ground-leveling plate 10 having a lateral width equal to the lateral width of the lower part of the bucket, and coupling fittings 11 secured to the upper surface of the ground-leveling plate 10 at an interval nearly equal to the interval between the tooth-mounting fittings 8 and capable of being detachably attached to the ends of the excavation teeth 9. Upon attaching or detaching the coupling fittings 11 secured to the upper surface of the ground-leveling plate 10 to, or from, the ends of the excavation teeth 9, the ground-leveling plate 10 can be easily attached to, or detached from, excavation teeth of a bucket for excavation.

  • Patent number: 5837786
Abstract: A process for producing a polyester of uniform quality, in which a slurry of powdery aromatic dicarboxylic acid in a liquid diol is prepared and the resulting slurry is processed through an esterification step and a polycondensation step in the presence of a catalyst, is provided by performing the reactions in the esterification and the polycondensation in a stabilized condition, which process comprisesrecycling a liquid containing the unreacted diol and the catalyst separated from the reaction mixture in the polycondensation step back to the esterification step as recycling liquor, detecting the concentrations of diol, diol condensation product, catalyst and water in the recycling liquor in the course of being recycled back to the esterification step by a near infrared spectrophotometer of a noise level of at the highest 50.times.10.sup.-6 Abs with a wave length repeatability of 0.

  • Patent number: 5729262
Abstract: An ink jet printing head includes a nozzle plate including nozzles, a plurality of ink cavities each containing ink, a plurality of actuators each made of a phase transition material, an oscillating plate having a top surface with which the ink in each ink cavity is brought into contact, and having a bottom surface bonded to each actuator, the oscillating plate pressing the ink in each ink cavity in association with the actuators to discharge ink drops from the nozzles at a sheet of paper so that an image is printed on the paper.

  • Patent number: 5638842
Abstract: A device for removing a film-like image forming substance from a recording medium for thereby regenerating the medium. A supply section supplies to the medium a water-containing removal accelerating liquid which causes a swelling layer of the medium to swell more than the substance provided on the medium. A separating section presses, after the liquid has been supplied to the medium, a separating member against the medium with or without heating to thereby transfer the substance from the medium to the separating member and thereby regenerates the medium. A cleaning section removes impurities deposited on the separating member.

  • Patent number: 5504010
Abstract: A sample to be analyzed is taken from a flow line of a production process and transferred through a slender pipe to an analyzing device. The transfer is accomplished using a pressurized liquid with a segment gas being interposed between the sample and the pressurized liquid. The sample may be fed directly or after mixing with a diluting liquid in a mixing chamber. Samples may be taken at regular and constant time intervals and transferred to the analyzing device stably and over predetermined periods of time.
