The check valve has a slidable valve body, and a valve supporting member that restricts movement of the valve body toward the injection pipe side when the check valve checks a flow of refrigerant. A center hole is formed in the valve body. A peripheral hole is formed in the valve supporting member and opposes a rim part of the valve body. Refrigerant passes through the peripheral and center holes and is supplied to the compression chamber. The center hole can be closed by the valve supporting member, and the peripheral hole can be closed by the rim part of the valve body when the check valve checks the flow of refrigerant.

    Abstract: A scroll compressor includes a compression mechanism having fixed and movable scrolls to form a fluid chamber. The fixed scroll has an end plate, an outer peripheral wall, and a wrap. The movable scroll has an end plate and a wrap. A scroll oil groove is formed in a sliding contact surface of the outer peripheral wall. Lubricating oil having a high pressure corresponding to a discharge pressure of the compression mechanism is fed into the scroll oil groove. A scroll oil groove is formed in a sliding contact surface of the movable scroll, which slides on the outer peripheral wall. The fixed and movable scroll oil grooves communicate with each other without communicating with the fluid chamber in a first operation. The movable scroll oil groove simultaneously communicates with the fixed scroll oil groove and the fluid chamber in a second operation after the first operation.
