Abstract: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material having a hydrophilic organic colloid layer containing a dispersion of a substantially water-insoluble photographic additive dissolved in a phosphoric acid ester represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a saturated alicyclic group; and R.sub.2 and R.sub.3, which may be the same or different, each represents a saturated alicyclic group, an alkyl group or an aryl group.

Abstract: A method for dispersing oil-soluble photographic additives into a hydrophilic colloid composition is disclosed characterized by the use of lecithin in conjunction with an anionic surface active agent containing an --SO.sub.3 M or --OSO.sub.3 M moiety wherein M represents a cation and a hydrophobic group having 8 to 30 carbon atoms.

Abstract: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, with the photographic light-sensitive material having a hydrophilic organic colloid layer containing a dispersion of a scarcely water-soluble photographic additive dissolved in an aromatic ester represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an acyloxy group, an aryloxy group, an alkoxycarbonyl group or a halogen atom; R.sub.2 represents a cyclic saturated hydrocarbon group; m represents an integer of 0 to 5; n represents an integer of 1 to 6; and when m and n each represents an integer of 2 or more, the substituents represented by R.sub.1 or R.sub.2 can be the same or different.

Abstract: A photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide photographic emulsion layer and containing an emulsified dispersion comprising an organic solvent and an organic solvent gelling agent in at least one hydrophilic colloid layer thereof, a process for producing an emulsified dispersion using an organic solvent gelling agent and a process for stabilizing a photographic light-sensitive material containing an emulsion of an oleophilic photographic additive in a hydrophilic colloid layer thereof using an organic solvent gelling agent.

Abstract: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a hydrophilic organic colloid layer containing a photographic additive dispersed therein using as a solvent a benzoic acid ester which has a boiling point of greater than 250.degree. C at atmospheric pressure, which is soluble in water in a proportion of less than about 10% by weight, and which dissolves water in a proportion of less than about 5% by weight. The benzoic acid ester does not have any harmful influence on the human body and does not cause environmental pollution.

Abstract: in a highly or superhighly sensitive color photographic material having at least one highly or superhighly light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a color-forming coupler and silver iodobromide grains color-sensitized with a dye having at least one sulfo group or carboxy group, the silver halide emulsion grains having a mean grain size of larger than about 1 micron, the occurrence of fog due to pressure stimulus is prevented effectively by the incorporation of a high-boiling organic solvent having a boiling point of higher than about 175.degree. C at normal pressure in the silver halide emulsion layer in an amount of higher than about 20% by weight of the amount of binder present in the emulsion layer.

Abstract: a silver halide photographic photosensitive material in which at least one of the hydrophilic colloid layers thereof contains an organic sulfonic acid composition comprising at least one of the compounds represented by the general formula (I)a -- so.sub.3 m (i)wherein A represents a monovalent residue of an unsaturated hydrocarbon having one double bond and containing 8 to 18 carbon atoms, and M represents a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom, an alkaline earth metal atom, an ammonium group or an alkylammonium group; and at least one of compounds represented by the general formula (II) ##STR1## wherein B represents a monovalent residue of a saturated hydrocarbon containing 6 to 16 carbon atoms, n is 1, 2 or 3, and M has the same meanings as M in the above general formula (I).
