The towing device is movably suspended from a pair of guide rails received in a recess formed below the running road surface. The towing device is disposed between the guide rails, thereby making effective use of the space between the guide rails. Further, the towing device is disposed at a position below the running road surface, so that it does not interfere with the running of the test car.
