  • Patent number: 7647341
Abstract: Provided is a map editing-and-displaying system that acquires partial map data from a database that contains map data. The partial map data includes appended index data. The system automatically assigns a map name to the partial map data based on the appended index data. A user can then identify and select the map according to the assigned map name.

  • Patent number: 6843827
Abstract: The method for smelting copper sulfide concentrate essentially consisting of the steps of: adding SiO2 source material and CaO source material for flux to the copper sulfide concentrate, and subjecting the copper sulfide concentrate to oxidation melting to produce slag and at least one selected from the group of white metal and blister copper, so that at least part of Fe in the copper sulfide concentrate is removed to the slag while at least part of S is removed in the form of SO2, and that copper is concentrated in the form of at least one selected from the group of white metal and blister copper, and wherein the composition of the slag is controlled such that the weight ratio CaO/(SiO2+CaO) is in the ramge of 0.6 to 0.85, while the weight ratio Fe/(FeOx+SiO2+CaO) is in the range of 0.5 to 0.6.

  • Publication number: 20030204520
Abstract: A prefecture name and names of cities of address index data of map-data-acquired area are compared with those of address index data of the whole country. A map name corresponding to the range of the acquired map data is assigned automatically to the acquired map data on the basis of a comparison result. A user can easily identify a map by displaying such map names in list form or in a like manner. Further, an area whose address index data include all address index data of a requested prefecture, a requested city, or the like is calculated, and map data of that area are delivered. This allows a user to acquire only necessary map data without the need for performing a complicated operation of determining an area. Thus it is provided a map editing-and-displaying apparatus that allows a user to easily recognize an area of acquired partial map data when the partial map data have been acquired on an area basis and that also allows a user to easily identify desired map data.

  • Patent number: 4848754
Abstract: A flash smelting furnace includes a reaction shaft defining a reaction chamber therein, a plurality of reaction air blowing pipes passing through the side wall of the reaction shaft for blowing reaction air into the reaction chamber, and at least one concentrate burner attached to the top end of the reaction shaft and comprising a concentrate chute, a tubular auxiliary fuel burner extending vertically through the chute, a tubular oxygen blowing pipe concentrically surrounding the auxiliary fuel burner and a dispersion cone attached to the lower end of the oxygen blowing pipe. The air from the blowing pipes disturbs the jet stream of mixed smelting material and reaction gas in the reaction chamber, thereby achieving a uniform mixture of the material and the reaction air and extending the retention time of the material in the reaction shaft.
