  • Patent number: 6556775
Abstract: An image and sound reproduction system which can perform reproduction while replacing a predetermined portion of a background image with another still picture is provided. Still picture synthesizing means combines an arbitrary first still picture with plural second still pictures serving as a background, and synthesis and reproduction controlling means controls the still picture synthesizing means, whereby the first still picture is combined with the plural second still pictures in accordance with position information for combining the first still picture with the second still pictures. The synthetic images are sequentially reproduced. In this case, the position of a partial region (dummy object) of a dummy still picture serving as a reference is determined, and a synthesizing position of a part (user object) of the first still picture is determined in accordance with the position coordinates of the dummy still picture.

  • Patent number: 5197051
Abstract: A device is for specifying and calculating a reproduction time of an optical disk player such that the reproduction time is specified and calculated to coincide with a recording length of one side of a magnetic tape. The optical disk player reproduces audio information stored on an optical disk in the form of a plurality of recorded audio segments. The magnetic tape is used to record at least one of the plurality of recorded audio segments reproduced by the optical disk player.

  • Patent number: 5029153
Abstract: An optical disk reproducing device is used when recording a plurality of music pieces, which have been recorded on an optical disk, on a recording medium such as a magnetic recording tape by using a magnetic recording and reproducing device, etc. in order to make it easy to edit and set the number of music pieces which is recordable to minimize a remaining time of a recording tape.

  • Patent number: 5008872
Abstract: An optical disc reproduction apparatus is disclosed including a device for detecting a maximum audio signal level recorded on the optical disc. A first course-search is effected of the entire optical disc to detect a first location on the optical disc in which a maximum value of a recorded audio signal is located. A second fine-search of the optical disc is effected within a region extending in opposite directions from the location on the optical disc detected during the first course-search. During the second fine-search operation, a second location on the optical disc is located in which a maximum value of the recorded audio signal level is located. Then, audio signals are reproduced repetitiously in the vicinity of the second location detected during the second fine-search operation.

  • Patent number: 5008875
Abstract: A programming device of an optical disc reproducing apparatus is for programming a playing sequence of audio selections of an optical disc for recording onto a magnetic recording medium having first and second recording sides. An arithmetic unit is provided for determining which of the audio selections are to be recorded on each side of the magnetic recording medium in accordance with the recording time of the magnetic recording medium and the playing times of the audio selections, and for calculating remainder times denoting the difference between the recording time of the magnetic recording medium and the total playing times of the audio selections.

  • Patent number: 4991159
Abstract: A time display device for an apparatus for playing information recorded on an optical disk includes a first input device for specifying a total playing time and a second input device for specifying portions of the disk to be played. A time adding unit obtains a sum of the playing times of the portions of the disk specified by the second input device. A subtracting unit obtains a subtracted value by subtracting the sum obtained by the time adding unit from the total playing time. The total playing time is then displayed in a numerical fashion, whereas the sum obtained by the adding unit is displayed in a bar graph fashion.

  • Patent number: 4916682
Abstract: A device for reproducing a plurality of optical disks previously stores a remaining time obtained by substracting the total playing time of music pieces of an optical disk from the play time corresponding to the length of a recording tape set by a user and sequentially stores the number of music pieces of another optical disk which can be recorded within the remaining time which are obtained by an edition operating section. The remaining time of a recording tape, which occurs when recording a plurality of music pieces recorded on an optical disk by using a magnetic recording/reproducing device such as a tape recorder, can be effectively used to easily set the number of music pieces when reocrding on the tape the music pieces of another optical disk.

  • Patent number: 4592088
Abstract: A speaker apparatus using the so-called motional feedback (MFB) technique in which the sound wave from a speaker (14) is detected by a microphone (10) and the output of the microphone (10) is fed back to a power amplifier (5) for driving the speaker through a feedback amplifier (11). The microphone (10) is disposed in a plane which is perpendicular to the sound radiation axis of the speaker such plane containing substantially the acoustic center of the speaker (14). The output of the microphone (10) is fed back to the power amplifier (5) within a frequency range lower than a frequency at which the distance between the speaker (14) and the microphone (10) becomes 1/4 wavelength. A speaker apparatus is thus realized where the reproduced sound is not influenced by the microphone, the feedback upper limit frequency is high and the influence of Doppler distortion is small.

  • Patent number: 4387275
Abstract: A speaker in which a voice coil bobbin (4) is connected through a mechanical filter to vibrating members (11, 14) for limiting the reproducing frequency band in predetermined range by the mechanical filter, and a speaker system employing the speaker. A pneumatic suspension V is used as the mechanical filter to eliminate the variations in the reproducing frequency band even for long term usage.

  • Patent number: 4243839
Abstract: A transducer such as used for an electro-dynamic loudspeaker adapted to convert an electric signal into a mechanical motion or, a moving coil type velocity sensor adapted to convert a mechanical motion into an electric signal. The so-called "Bl force factor," representative of the product of the magnetic flux density B and the length l of the main coil, is so controlled as to be made constant, whereby the linearity of the transducer is improved.
