    Abstract: A method is described for cutting a plurality of molded cores. Each core includes an annular magnetic body made of a magnetic material and a covering part made of an insulating resin that covers the magnetic body. The method includes coupling each of the molded cores side by side in an axial direction, and cutting the molded cores at a first cutting part and at a second cutting part that transect an outer peripheral surface and an inner peripheral surface and approach each other toward an inner periphery direction of the molded core. The main body has a main body-side first end face formed by cutting at the first cutting part and a main body-side second end face formed by cutting at the second cutting part. A segment has a segment-side first end face formed by cutting at the first cutting part and a segment-side second end face formed by cutting at the second cutting part.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a bobbin-shaped air-cooled common mode choke coil that can suppress heat generation. The air-cooled common mode choke coil 10 according to the present invention is a common mode choke coil 10 in which an annular core 30 is housed in an annular bobbin 20, and a coil 40 is wound around the outer circumference of the bobbin 20. An airflow path A that allows an airflow B to flow therethrough is formed between the bobbin 20 and the core 30. The bobbin 20 includes one or more openings 21 and 22 that are in communication with the airflow path A. Flanges 23 and 24 are provided protruding along the peripheral edges of each of the openings 21 and 22. The openings 21 and 22 are desirably formed in the outer circumferential surface of the bobbin 20 and reache the upper and lower surfaces of the bobbin 20.

The holding member holds a core main body that is formed in a ring shape, has a gap extending through the core main body from an inner circumferential face to an outer circumferential face thereof, and allows an air core coil wound in advance to be fitted onto the core main body from one end thereof. On the coil fitting rod, the air core coil that is to be fitted onto the core main body held by the holding member is fitted. The rod driving member brings a front end of the coil fitting rod close to or into contact with the one end of the core main body held by the holding member. The pushing member pushes the air core coil fitted on the coil fitting rod, toward the one end of the core main body.
