Patent number: 6412886Abstract: In a driving force control apparatus, a target driving torque TO is obtained based on a value determined by subtracting a feedback correction torque TF corresponding to a slip amount DVS from a correction reference torque TBC corresponding to a vehicle body speed VB. Slip is suppressed by a throttle control so that the engine output is reduced to the target driving torque TO. A retard command is output when the slip amount DVS and a slip rate GDVS are greater than predetermined values to retard an ignition timing of the engine, thereby suppressing an abrupt slip. When it is determined that a right and left front wheel speed difference is large and the vehicle is running on a split road, a retard command is made difficult to be reset as compared to a case where the vehicle is not running on a split road. When it is detected that the driving wheels are vibrating, particularly a differential factor is decreased and regulated only to a component to reduce the target driving torque.Type: GrantFiled: March 28, 1995Date of Patent: July 2, 2002Assignee: Mitsubishi Jidosha Kogyo Kabushi KaishaInventors: Yasushi Abe, Yoshihito Ito

Publication number: 20020003468Abstract: If a received signal includes a message signal following the address of the pager concerned, a decoder section decodes the message signal and a control section stores it in a memory section together with a reception time. At this time, the control section judges whether the message signal includes a sender identification code or a consecutive transmission code. If either code exists, the control section stores it in the memory section together with the message. The control section reads message data from the memory section, and a display control section controls a display section to display the message. If the message includes a sender identification code or a continuous transmission code, the control section searches for messages to be displayed together with the current message from among the other messages stored in the memory section, and the display control section controls the display section to display the found messages en bloc.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 17, 2001Publication date: January 10, 2002Inventors: Toshiyuki Tsumura, Kazuhiko Fujimori, Yasushi Abe, Hideki Kuga

Patent number: 6327475Abstract: Group identification codes, names of parties to be sent, and telephone numbers of the pagers of the parties to be sent are stored in groups in memory 3 of a selective pager. At the time of transmission of a message, telephone numbers of a specified group and a message to be sent for the group are selected from the memory. The telephone numbers and the message are alternately sent to a DTMF signal generation section 8, which converts the telephone numbers and the message to DTMF signals. The DTMF signals are then converted into acoustic signals by means of a speaker 9 and are continually transmitted by way of a transmitter of a telephone set. As a result, a group call can be implemented without involving laborious operations, such as transmission of the telephone numbers and the message one by one.Type: GrantFiled: June 24, 1998Date of Patent: December 4, 2001Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kazuhiko Fujimori, Yasushi Abe, Akihiko Wada, Keiko Ishii

Publication number: 20010040978Abstract: In a verification data encoding method of the invention, a verification data is provided for each of a plurality of pixels of a digital image, in order for determining whether an alteration to the digital image is effected. The verification data is inserted to each of the plurality of pixels of the digital image such that the verification data is invisible. In an original image verification method and apparatus of the invention, a key information is input and a pseudo-random code is provided by taking the pseudo-random code from a sequence of pseudo-random codes initialized by the key information. A verification data is calculated through a predetermined operation based on a pixel value indicated by a predetermined number of bits of the pixel of concern in an input digital image and based on the pseudo-random code.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 26, 2000Publication date: November 15, 2001Applicant: RICOH COMPANY, LTD.Inventor: Yasushi Abe

Patent number: 6249668Abstract: Messages received through information delivery are classified by a message identification section. The thus-classified messages are stored into a specified folder by means of a folder management section and are managed for each level in a hierarchy. When a new message is stored into the specified folder, a folder setting section causes a paging control section to page the user by means of a speaker, a vibrator, or an LED or causes a display control section to display the arrival of a message on an LCD. So long as the folder is set to a shortcut folder, a desired information item can be read in a prioritized manner.Type: GrantFiled: August 6, 1998Date of Patent: June 19, 2001Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Akihiro Abe, Yasushi Abe, Akihiko Wada, Keiko Ishii

Patent number: 6216385Abstract: A receiving frame controlling unit 4a for controlling receiving operations of a plurality of frames individually, and a receiving state detecting unit 1b for detecting whether or not a receiving state is in or out of a service area of the base station are provided in a CPU 4, wherein the power saving or conservation can be achieved in the out of the service area status by halting frame receiving operations when the receiving state is out of the service area. Also, according to an error rate of received radio information, or according to a time zone which is set arbitrarily to particular information broadcasting addresses by a user, the power saving or conservation may be achieved by reducing the number of receiving frames. Further, if the receiving state is out of the service area and also the electric field strength is low, the power saving or conservation may be achieved by executing a short-time standby operation to monitor only the electric field state.Type: GrantFiled: September 14, 1998Date of Patent: April 17, 2001Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventor: Yasushi Abe
