  • Patent number: 4375139
Abstract: A rolling toy in substantially permanently assembled form including a body having retaining apertures therein receiving mounting blocks in fastened relation. The blocks include tubular axle members rotatably receiving individual wheels, the latter being held assembled by hub members having shafts received in the tubular axle members. Coupling means integral with the body allows serial connecting of plural toys. Mounting means may be provided on the body to detachably hold other parts thereon.

  • Patent number: 4361980
Abstract: A rollable toy having a body with axles having rollable members thereon. Each axle has a stepped, resilient, headed male portion and a female portion with which it mates, each portion having an outer socket for receiving a boss on a spherical wheel member. The wheels may be fixedly or removably mounted to the axles and may have loose contents creating a sound when rolled. A face member may be removably mounted on the body.

  • Patent number: 4306373
Abstract: An improved frictional interconnecting toy block arrangement having a hollow body means fabricated of a semi-flexible material such as a blowmolded plastic. The interconnecting of the toy blocks with each other is achieved by female coupler means and male couplers. The male couplers are part of the body means and unitarily fabricated of blowmolded plastic during the fabrication of the body means. The female coupler means are fabricated of a more rigid plastic such as an injection molded plastic which can be fabricated to close tolerances. The female coupler means fits and is retained within apertures molded into the walls of the body means. Relief means, such as slots, are provided in the female coupler means to allow for dimensional variations of the male couplers that are inherent in the blowmolding process and still provide interlocking with the male couplers.

  • Patent number: 4305221
Abstract: An improved, frictional, interconnecting toy block arrangement having a body means with walls defining a body cavity. The body means of the block is fabricated of two separate body members coupled together along a median plane. Coupling means are provided on the two body members to retain the two body members together. Each of the two body members may be provided with a different appearance, such as, for example, different color, different surface texture, or the like. A female interblock coupling means is provided as an integral part of each of the two body members and the female interblock coupling means comprises a skirt member extending into the body cavity and defining the male interblock coupler means receiving aperture. For the two body members of the body means coupled together the apertures in each are aligned and the inner ends of each of the skirt members within the body cavity are provided with interconnection structure for coupling the inner ends of the skirt members together.

  • Patent number: 4246718
Abstract: An improved frictional interconnecting toy block arrangement having a body means with walls defining a body cavity. The interconnection of toy blocks with each other is achieved by a female coupler means extending through the cavity of the body means of the toy block and having an aperture adapted to receive a male coupler means. Male coupler means which extends outwardly from a wall of the toy block is insertable into the aperture of the female coupler means for frictional retention therein. The male coupler means are generally fabricated as part of the body means of the block. The body means of the block is fabricated of two separate body members coupled together along a median plane. Coupling means are provided on the two body members to retain the two body members together.
