  • Patent number: 7537214
Abstract: A stage on to which a bill bundle is carried is moved to a lower end position in order to feed the bills through a feeding mechanism. The bill bundle is pressed by a pusher so that a bill located at the bottom touches a pick roller with appropriate pressure. With reference to a position being detected by a sensor, the distance over which the stage is moved below that position is determined. The distance is subtracted from the maximum distance over which the stage is movable downward from the reference position, thus determining the height of the bundle of papers when it is pressed.

  • Publication number: 20070007712
Abstract: The configuration comprises a carrier equipping an ejection plate on the front for ejecting the bundled-paper sheet material P and equipping a plurality of cutout parts, which are open in their top parts, at a predetermined interval on both the left and right sides; and a drive transmission unit being equipped by a plurality of drive rollers, each of which comprises a plurality of bosses in a predetermined interval on a single circumference around the rotation center thereof, in a predetermined interval on both the left and right sides of the bundled-paper sheet material transport path, wherein a drive force is transmitted by allowing bosses of each drive roller, which rotates by receiving a drive force from a drive source, engage in the respective cutout parts of the carrier sequentially, thereby allowing the carrier travel in the front and back directions of the bundle transport path.

  • Patent number: 5408116
Abstract: A finely structured grooved gate transistor of which the threshold voltage does not decrease in spite of the small size and of which the threshold voltage of the transistor can be adjusted by shape. The shape of a groove corner of the transistor as a semiconductor device is contained in a concentric circle having a radius of curvature r.+-.L/5 (L: channel length) and the radius of curvature r, i.e., the geometric parameter has a relationship with the doping concentration as shown in FIG. 1B. Alternatively, the average (a+b)/2 (geometric parameter) of the sum of the two sides opposite the right angle of a right triangle formed of a straight line in contact with the gate bottom in parallel to the substrate surface of a grooved gate transistor, a perpendicular line to the substrate bottom surface from the source and drain ends at a portion formed with a channel and a straight line in contact with the groove corner has a relationship with the doping concentration as shown in FIG. 1B.

  • Patent number: 5352324
Abstract: Disclosed is an etching method and an apparatus for performing an etching by alternately and repeatedly switching an average thickness of an ion sheath and an average energy of etching ions between two different values. Since the etchant absorption to the surface of an article to be etched and the etching by ions are effectively performed, it is possible to reduce the influence of an aspect ratio on an etching depth, and hence to perform the etching with an equal depth even if the width of the opening is changed.
