  • Publication number: 20090326184
Abstract: A polycarbonate copolymer contains: 0.1 to 50 mol % of a monomer unit represented by the following formula (1); and a monomer unit represented by the following formula (2). In the polycarbonate copolymer, the content of biphenols having a structure represented by the following formula (3) is 90 mass ppm or less. In the formula, R1 and R2 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6 to 12 carbon atoms or a halogen atom. In the formula: R3 and R4 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6 to 12 carbon atoms or a halogen atom; and X represents any one of bonding groups represented by —O—, —S—, —SO—, —SO2—, —CO— and 9,9-fluorenylidene group. In the formula, R1 and R2 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6 to 12 carbon atoms or a halogen atom.

  • Publication number: 20090153295
Abstract: A transmitting antenna to transmit a request signal in a vehicle compartment is disposed off the center line of the vehicle compartment in a vehicle width direction. The output strength of the request signal transmitted by the transmitting antenna is switched in such a manner that a receivable output range of the request signal by a portable device reaches one of both doors which is equipped with one of access switches which has been operated. Accordingly, it can be properly recognized whether the portable device is located inside the vehicle compartment or outside the vehicle compartment even if the transmitter to transmit the request signal in the vehicle compartment is disposed off the center line of the vehicle compartment in the vehicle width direction.

  • Patent number: 7408446
Abstract: There is provided in back of the instrument panel the motion sensor that transmits the radio wave continuously or periodically and receive the radio wave reflected in the vehicle compartment. Also, there is provided the burglar horn that executes specified alarming when a specified change in the reflected radio wave received by the motion sensor occurs. Herein, the motion sensor transmits the radio wave toward the instrument panel. Thereby, the stable burglar alarm operation can be performed.

  • Publication number: 20060236970
Abstract: A control unit automatically stops an engine when a vehicle is stopped and automatically starts the engine in a case where operation for a vehicle start is conducted by a passenger or a specified emergency start is required. Herein, in the case where the operation for the vehicle start is conducted by the passenger, the engine is automatically started when ID verification with a portable device is confirmed, and in the case where the specified emergency start is required, the engine is automatically started without the confirmation of the ID verification with the portable device. Accordingly, a proper antitheft function of a smart engine starter (SES) system and a proper engine-start function of an idling stop start (ISS) system.

  • Publication number: 20060066442
Abstract: When a predetermined condition is met while the engine is running (S1?yes), the output of an alternator is reduced (S2). Then, a request signal which requires a response from a portable unit is delivered in the vehicle and an ID signal output from the portable unit in response to the request signal is received. Based on the received signal, a judgment is made whether or not the particular portable unit is present in the vehicle (S3). If it is judged that the portable unit is not present in the vehicle (S4?no), an alarm is given (S5). By so doing, the influence of electromagnetic noise caused by surge noise of the alternator is avoided to allow detection of the portable unit in the vehicle with accuracy, thereby reducing the possibility of causing an erroneous alarm.
